I always tried not to listen to this song - esp after my grandpa died-I was always right behind him no matter where he went or what he was doing I wanted to be with him,that was almost 20 years ago and I still cant go to his grave with out crying. You did an excellent job with the video and the cover-you have a wonderful voice.

This song is America! Beatiful! Reminds me so much of my Pa! He was old(42) when I was born. He taught me the horse, which I will pass on . My last duty to him was to carry him to the waiting ambulance. He died in the same bedroom that he was born in. Love you Pa, and miss you alot!

Yes, great vid! It is a shame more people do not see the "art" going on around them everyday. This song hits me so close because I can relate to it. I am the last of the babyboomers(1964) We were still using horses to pull the manure spreader in 1981! We had tractors but Pa could not let go. At the time I did not understand but I sure as hell do now.

My mom says that she can see his ghost, and I believe her because when I am by myself in the house, I see the figure staring at me, and I run out of the house.
