  • Thanks for posting this tho, I think it is amazing!!! Look for 75 Largo Green Manalishi (Peter Green tune later covered by Judas Priest!) and you will REALLY hear her 'speaking in tongues' as they say ;)

  • (and Richard Dashut.. ) .. enginereers, producers.. but no Jimmy yet.. This sounds just fine to me! That's what LIVE is! The GDW scream is legendary .. as is the Edge scream...and lots of screams! Each is different .. she adlibs all the endings ... LOVE the current ending to GDW!! Oooo baby... if you could see me now!.. you can't feel me.. you can't feel me now... oooo..you can't save me now...!"

  • lololol nooo Ken Caillat (Colbie's dad) & Keith Olsen produced Rumours... no hotel..studio..beach house..yes. Ever watched Classic Albums: The Making of Rumours ? Or Behind the Music ... a good start would be Mick's book "My 25 Years in Fleetwood Mac".. please don't just make up RUMOURS! Jimmy I. came on scene as producer of Stevie's first solo album Bella Donna, and helped her form Modern Records .. and they had a relationship and are still good friends. ~ the Maclopedia

  • When Jimmy Iovine was producing the Rumour Album - the group was WASTED and splintering apart! They were locked in a hotel and ALL their feelings of love, betrayal, passion and hatred played out! Due to their individual addictions they were not allowed to leave (because if they did, it would be nearly impossible to get them back in the studio) so one night - for a break - Stevie went down and starting making these noises playing piano, Jimmy - unbenounced to Stevie - recorded them! Rest History!

  • @bambis46 Hm? Jimmy Iovine didn't produce Rumours.

  • @thedancingcow I started wondering, so I looked at the info & there was a lot of myth behind this song! Jimmy Iovine had dated Stevie & when I saw a BBC production about the making of Rumours, he WAS on there stating that she went into a candle lit studio & just starting wailing, he was like "What the hell is that noise" so he taped it - just to have, the band said "put it in"! I knew that Ken & Richard produced the album, BUT Jimmy did say that! So who knows? He was involved in EVERYTHING!

  • @thedancingcow thanky you! I think bambis is on drugs!

  • @bambis46 Jimmy did not produce Rumurs...Jimmy came along for Bella Donna.

  • @bambis46 in what alternate universe did jimmy iovine produce Rumours?

  • @bambis46 For some reason - on a documentary about Rumours - there was Jimmy Iovine talking about Stevie going down to the studio with a piano, candlight & wine & started making the noise she did on the end of Gold Dust Woman! He said he thought "what the hell is that?!" & started taping her! He then said he played it for the band the&y decided to include it! It WAS Jimmy Iovine in the interview! I understand he didn't produce Rumours - BUT he must have been involved someway thus the interview

  • You're right, not Stevie's best here but it still beats a lot of other bands. Gotta Love Sevie, the best female rock vocalist of all time in my opinion.

  • Hardest working woman in the business...And still not retire, Work on ancient queen

  • I LOVE STEVIE - she is my absolutely all time favorite female artist, but this version was not her best at all. I figure exhaustion mixed with too much partying definitely had a part in this performance. Regardless, she is my ALL TIME FAVORITE. LOVE LOVE LOVE

  • Stevie fucking Nicks!!!! Love her forever! The only Goddess!

  • Amazing. people actually listening to the song rather than yelling over it. That's not the norm anymore... sadly.

  • @dfwjac Yeah really... the first few times I saw Stevie (after The Dance was released) I did scream entirely too much during the concert. I thought I was showing Stevie my love, plus I was so excited that I could barely hold it in. But I've since learned that bands don't like for you to scream since you can't hear the music if you're screaming. It's disrespectful to the band and other audience members. Beatlemania was a bad influence on a lot of people, I think.

  • That which does not kill us makes us stronger...and thats Stevies awesome story...

  • love it ! ! !
