I just watched the entire movie, and....someone, please explain to me what the ending was all about? It was so confusing... was Glen just an allusion? Is Glen really her son? Did she kill her baby? What is with the husband? GAH I NEED ANSWERS!

@dezy8675309 I was thinking the same thing. If the neighbor saw him, he had to be real. If you watch the whole movie, at the end the husband tells her she can't involve the neighbors in their games. She said that he will come back so I was thinking it was just some strange sex game they were playing.

But it is strange that the neighbor saw Glen.....................so I believe that Glen is real.

This story is meant to leave the audience confused and wondering if it was an allusion.

I believe that was the writer's goal..........................­..to show that there is no true answer to if Glen is real or not.

@dezy8675309 I agree, I do think it was the authors goal to be confusing. He also tries to set it up that the woman may have some mental issues. The husbands co-workers are always asking how she is doing. I think this is a brilliant little play.

@dezy8675309 Thus the name of the play, it is loosely based on Oedipus. She is supposed to be attracted to him, that is why someone like Tim Curry was cast, the character of Glen needed to be seductive.

And it does make sense that she was attracted to Glen.

This did keep me in suspense the whole time, it was a great tease when she almost kissed him on the lips, but ended up kissing Glen on his forehead, it seemed very natural and lovingly, that is one of the main reasons why this is such a spectacular story.
