You know that snake statue, theres a shadow of a snake. You have to go to the opposite direction of where the snake shadow is. HInt: straight, right, and left. This will go for Dante too if you get to mission 14 I think

Big tip of DMC4 play mission 7 over & over again with defeating the boss & you will get 2000 proud soul & unknown orbs u count but after repeating this level many times you will have enough orbs & proud souls to buy new skills & upgrades. but you most also win all secret missions to get fragments of blue orbs. that would expand your life bar.

hay this is how u get past it, u have 2 look at the shadow and which way it is going, if it going 1 way where there R a lot shadow then go 2 the 1 wiht almost or no shadow at all, and as 4 the skulls, u need dubel jump 2 get, or just go back 4 it later

Anyway, I'd also like to mention that puzzles similar to the maze puzzle shown in this video is very common. You'll usually find them in RPGs or fantasy-themed games like Wild ARMs and Brave Fencer Musashi.

Devil May Cry 3 also had this puzzle (four paths and a riddle).

I'll give some quick tips:

1. To solve the maze, move towards the light, based on how the shadows are casted. You need to go to the correct direction 3 times.

2. To get the Blue Orb Fragment, get the ability "Air Hike" for Nero. Nero will be able to jump once more in air.

3. It's not a good idea to Buster an Assault when another is nearby. While you're slamming one, the other will attack you.

The Boss battle for this mission is the best in the game, by the way.
