Just a little over a year after I posted this and it has 43,000 views! Now, in the grand scheme of things, when viral videos get a million hits in a week or less, that may not be much. But, I set out to share this song so it would not become forgotten and obscure - it's on a demo that was released in 2003 and represents the dawn of Priscilla's music career. Well... mission accomplished!

I remember seeing Priscilla perform this song live back in 2003 (I think?) at The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood CA. It always stuck in my head because it's such a beautiful, poignant song. I can definitely vouch for its authenticity. Thanks for posting it! :)

I like this song. My interpretation of this song is probably different that it's true meaning though. But that's okay, right? "Leaving" to me in this song means leaving to do something, not leaving the relationship. My boyfriend had to go 1000 miles away for weeks at a time for his job. And I never wanted him to leave, but he said he was doing it for me, and us, so we could have a happy, comfortable future.
this song remind me of my long time bf...im in deep. i love him but i dont know how i could possibly tell him that, he have his gf and so do i..but deep inside, i do really love him more...oooh!
@kman517 Mine too, purely for nostalgia reasons. I remember hearing this song way way way back in the day when she was still in high school. The same high school I went to. She started out playing the school's coffee house events, as well as some small-time shows in Philadelphia. She sought out a dream and lived it, and this is from the beginning. That is why this song is so special.
@LeonLeeLum It'll have to be something you figure out by ear, or find someone who is able to approximate chords by ear. This song is, as far as I know, not found anywhere else online.
I had to go back and listen to the first part of the song again to make sure this was really Priscilla. I've never heard her sing with such a strong voice. Her style is so soft I had no idea she had such power behind that soft voice.
