Templates don't work that well because everybody screen size is different although some people do have the same so if the sizes are bigger then someone's screen it will screw up on the channel but good video anyways :)

Guys it's most likely not working because you need to save the file as a jpeg... That is probably why jrhippy3s isnt working too, when you save the background, save it as a jpeg for it to work.
