  • This was a very tragic story. I always felt sorry for the citizens of Troy, who I believe were good upstanding people. They didn't deserve to have their city destroyed. But then Paris was a treacherous man and should not have tricked Helen into going to Troy with him, then kidnapping her and forcing her to become his wife... Apparently she was passed around to all his friends once he died, regardless of her own wishes. Her great beauty was her curse. I feel sorry for her too. =(

  • A Helen of Troy which came from Greece, though treacherous Greece, the lovers deserved to be treated to their desires. The noble Trojans truly loved the women better than the Greeks. Finally women deserve the choice of good over bad; men as first class citizens deserve the truth to follow. Feminism caput.

  • An actual pretty Helen of Troy for once!

  • Are those real people? or movie effect? like opening of Mummy 2, Troy, and LOTR. I remembered saw this awesome movie when I was little. They must put a lot of budget to hire hundreds of actors

  • Jack Cooper was one of the stuntmen in this version of Helen of Troy. He was seen jumping from a cliff, dressed in a blond wig when he stood in for Rosanna Podesta. Jack Cooper lived his last years in Climping. West Sussex. UK until his recent death. A good friend and neighbour. Our thoughts go out to his loving wife, Ivy.

  • WAY UNDERATED

  • This looks like a good movie, the classics are always the best.
