  • COBRA- it's the law. You can't turn away people away from an ER room

  • If you have a heart attack while out on the street, hospitals have a moral obligation to help you.

  • My mother-in-law was turned away from a hospital when she was pregnant with twins at the age of 15. Ron Paul is not telling the truth or he is ignorant to the facts that say otherwise.

  • "It's a fallacy to say that someone has a right to somebody else's services?" Remember that when America has to go to war again, a real war like WWII, and he needs young American soldiers to save his ass. I wonder what he'll say when we need another draft?

  • Larry is either a burn victim or he had a botched face lift.He is not a good listener.

  • Ron talks out his ass.

  • Ron is a politition, he may talk a good game but politics are like poker, you can see his face but not the cards.

  • Ya I called Ron's campain, his people told me the gov had right to tax property as 16th ammendment. that ammendment says tax shouldn't be based of capitalism yet thats how they tax. if I lose or get screwed out of a job gov still keeps trucking stealing my land if they must. outlaw me horse and wagon out of town in-between jobs live of land. basically if I got to live in socialsm at all so should rich & they should tarrif the fuck out of china so rich wouldn't go there to cheat system I can't

  • I largely agree with Paul but what would be the solution for physically or mentally disabled people who need on going care not simply a trip to the emergency room? Genuine question, I like Paul.

  • God Bless u Ron!

  • Paul, I agree with you on almost everything, except your misuse of the word "Corporatism". It's strongly linked to National Syndicalism, but would best be described as progressive rather than socialist.

What we have now is Crony capitalism, not corporatism. It's corruption, not an economic philosophy.

  • @Iisdabest889 Beg to differ with you. "Crony Capitalism" IS corporatism! TRUE capitalism is the antithesis of this!

  • @thespeez I totally agree with you that what we have now is nothing like true capitalism (it requires a free market), but people are using corporatism and crony capitalism interchangeably, when in actual fact they are different.

Corporatism is where the economy is divided up into sectors (called corporations) and are managed by the government, employers and employees together. So prices for bread in each business will be the same, wages are the same, etc etc.

  • Boy, I wish Paul would run... By that I mean have a shot.

  • @AvengingDudikoff

I've heard him say so much.. Nonetheless, his personal views are too bound up with his libertarian ideology. From the view of philosophical pragmatism, (u can look this subject up on Wkiipedia and research it further if u like) all ideology is a form of thought suppression. It gets people to thinking along one line of thought to the exclusion of other perspectives. Again, I really like Ron Paul.. But, I believe he limits himself intellectually, as do most people.

  • Boy, I wish Paul would run...

  • I like Ron Paul but his views on Health Care Reform are bogus. People have the right and power to organize in and amongst themselves toward the attainment of goals that serve the public good. This is why people support Social Security, Medicare, & Medicaid.. Similarly, if the majority of citizens want Medicare for all, they should have it. This is not socialism, it is not taking money from someone and giving it to others. It's a public service that benefits everyone.

  • @urbanverificationist I believe that Dr Paul has stated that he wouldnt do anyway with medicare since many people seem to like the idea.

  • Fuck you Larry King it's not semantics... It's either this, or that. You can go with this, or you can go with that.. This or that, this or that.

  • right to LIFE, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. our life shouldnt depend on our income. rich AFFORD life, poor cant AFFORD life...

  • 3 people have a touch of pregnancy

  • I agree with Ron Paul's opinion on the right to health insurance, as well as his opinions on iraq and afghanistan. However I believe social security should merely be more controlled and not given to any idoit who who has a neck pain. His ideas on that are a bit extreme.

  • @mattwithlove

He does want to phase it out gradually so those who paid in all their lives will be able to collest, as promised. Not that there will be muc, if anything left, because as you alluded to , there are a lot of people making false claims and collecting disability . Some never put into the system and collect from that pot of $ - a child with ADHD ( one of the new ( often fake ) "disabilities ") collecting $ - why ?? Is he at a disadvantage with other 4 yr olds because of his ADHD ?

  • A virus is only as dangerous as the amount of people who have died from it? That's a very dangerous way of thinking. And btw, is it a right for someone to refuse vaccine and freely spread a virus to everyone around him? I think not.

  • @sajfen Yes, it is a right to refuse vaccinations. Anyone who doesn't want to die from said 'virus' has a similar right to get vaccinated. The only people who would contract the virus are those who freely chose to not receive the vaccine, or those who were victims of the virus before the vaccine became available, either of which were the victims of the laws of nature and therefore OK to have died.

  • @clarkbuddy You should really look up herd immunity. Also some people might be allergic or too young to receive the vaccine. Every individual's choice to not get the vaccine heightens the risk for everyone else. Is that still a right?

  • @sajfen Yes, it is a right to not have to accept a vaccine. There have been new vaccines for communicable diseases created since you or I were born, and I certainly haven't ever been notified of an official order to receive vaccination. This concept alone destroys your implication. And I fully understand the concept of "herd immunity". Yes, the more potential hosts that a virus has, the more likely it will be to survive and mutate (perhaps even evolving to be resistant to a vaccine).

  • @sajfen Our rights in the U.S. are theoretically based on the idea that the individual's rights are protected first and foremost. 'Heightened risk' for 'everyone else' is no basis to deprive a human of his right to treat his own body as he sees fit.

  • @sajfen If you have a vaccine why would you even care?

  • @DaveElectric I have no idea what you mean, but I guess it has something to do with you not knowing that vaccines aren't 100% effective, thats where herd immunity comes in.

  • I agree with Ron Paul in regards to Obama care. Health INSURANCE is not a right... However, he wants to abolish all social programs as well as abolish federal income tax. He is also an isolationist. He is a fucking crack pot.. His followers are idiots.

  • @imax1971 Your an idiot for believing in the shit we are in now.

  • id like to just kick the fuck out of larry kings head and then cram him back into his crypt

  • Ron Paul is great guy and has for the most part great politcal postions. The only things i disagree on is his views on global warming(he doesnt believe its a big problem), guns(i think it should be more gun control) and drugs(maruijana should be legal as medical use but not in any other cases, other drugs should be ilegal too i think).

  • @Metasand Let's look at this and reason together.

Global Warming: One minute of searching produces a source that shows global temperatures dropping. Climate change and global warming are two different things.

Guns: The guy who is going to murder someone doesn't care that there is a law prohibiting him having a weapon. Gun laws are stupid and it is a matter of property rights you either have them or you don't.

Drugs: Laws don't prevent people from doing or selling drugs.

    Laws create crime.

  • @mrhnm This is absolutely true. You have hit the nail on the head. A lot of folks don't understand that when your freedom is absolved through government then more problems are created.

  • No Larry King, it's not "semantics", what a dumbass. Ron Paul was clear enough, if you had your ears open.

  • ok the only thing i dont agree on ron paul is the health care thing, damn right you sohuld have a govt that supports healthcare, im from canada and its a good system, its even better in the european countries

  • Didn't Jefferson or someone say that you have to rebuild every now and then? Like every 3 generations kick the bastards out and restart lol.

He blames capitalism... yet he's on Larry King pooping out words. Capitalism made all those corporations to become what they are... so... he blames the thing that got them there. If I were rich the first thing I would do is remove competitors and that's when it becomes corporatism.

  • @Shrunkenhead61 the tree of life needs to be watered with patriots blood from time to time

  • The Free Market is indeed a myth, not because of Government intervention but because of the lack of it. A free market, like a free society, cannot exist without laws governing behavior. Otherwise you have ANARCHY. Anarchy in the markets is as bad as anarchy in society. Mega-corporations, mega-banks, collusion, and corruption stifles competition and true free enterprise and tries to suppress workers trying to CAPITALIZE on their labor. You have to have rules so the game isn't fixed.

  • @FSUSW15009 Have any more communist rhetoric to spew?

Let's analyze what is meant by "Free Market" first let's handle the easy part Market a market is place of trade.

Now the hard part Free. Freedom is the inverse measure of compulsion where compulsion is freedom is not. The government is compulsion.

You cannot have a "free market" that has government intervention what you have instead is a socialist or mixed economy. But never one that is "Free". Words mean things.

    In other words Bullshit.

  • The so called "Free Market" is a myth. It cannot exist until nation states are abolished. States will ALWAYS look after its own interests.

  • Moore's a fat shill.

  • @shadowgeyser So are you advocating a free market WITHOUT corporations or are you entirely opposed to the idea of a free market?

  • "The Game" has been rigged 4 a long time but I draw comfort from the fact that the game IS nutral and that it can go both ways and since the game has favored the Super elites for soo long one must realize through reserch and individual study of economics and corporations the pendulum can swing back into the favor of the common man -don't give up or give in!

  • Wow. Why couldn't Ron Paul have been our president?

  • Combine Ron Paul with Dennis Kucinich, add some charisma. Then, poof, you've got a great president!

  • I agree with Ron Paul that true capitalism means that there are no bail-outs or government financial aid to failing companies. Most people are the working class and do fear job loss because of their company's mismanagement. I agree that in the job market this is a huge concern for the worker. However, should companies that fail their workers be rewarded with our tax dollars? No! If the government is going to pay out money, it should go to the workers.

  • ron paul allways makes me go "wow, I never looked at things this way". Thanks to him I'm becoming more of a libertarian every day. I mean, socialism, dictatorship, corporatism etc...can all work for a short time, but in the long run they will all fail. a true free market is the only long term solution

  • Ron Paul makes some good points, but Corporatism will ALWAYS arise out of a completely free market 100% of the time, that's why we have anti-trust laws. You need free market AND government intervention. You can't have one or the other, otherwise the concentration of power will lead to corruption.

  • yeah, cool guy (:D

  • Bravo Ron Paul!!! The corporate/government favoritism is destroying EVERYTHING! Big Money wants us all to step in line! Even in my life, the cost of basic medical care - eye, dental, general - have gone up sooo much! Why? Because Big Pharma, Big Insurance, Big Government have made it cost more!!! Now, for any given transaction, we have to pay for huge buildings filled with tens of thousands of employees and, of course, huge CEO bonuses, in order for them to watch over and manage us!!!

  • Wow Ron Paul nailed it! Thank you Ron for being a beacon for freedom and individual liberty. One of your best interviews ever.

  • Corporatism vs Capitalism. Excellent distinction Ron Paul. But, Larry, 'Maybe it's semantics', Come on buddy, surely you can see the difference.

  • I think he meant "the quality of education goes down" but he was speaking too fast

  • capitalism has become coporatism,or cronney capitalism, they own washington, thats how you become a multi millionare from a 168k job, go figure

  • government is alrdy taking a lot why not give universal healthcare for it? it will even be cheaper than the horseshit system now.

  • Did you listen to anything Ron said??? You're an idiot. Go get a 5th grade education before you start commenting on politics, asshole.

  • As much as I stand behind ron paul and his opinions. I'm afraid he will not win any new voters if he babbles like this. though what he says holds truth you can witness with your own eyes if you just look around you and use some sense. his talk sounds like incoherent to people with '0' knowledge. . most people dont wanna do their own research, they just want a great story that is easy to understand. this is RP's weak point. he needs a good writer to translate hIs views.

  • I'd say he's doing pretty good considering what he's up against. This country has been not only indoctrinated but institutionalized and brainwashed on big government. He's gone from virtually unknown to the leader of the fastest-growing grassroots movement in less than a few years. You call yourself a supporter? You just want to water down his views to pander to a minority of idiots. He's telling people nothing less than what they need to hear.

  • I agree with Ron Paul on some issues, but I consider Corporatism to be a logical extension of Capitalism in a state environment. The goal of Capitalism is to make as much profit as possible. Of course the wealthiest corporations are going to lobby the government in an attempt to create unfair advantages over their competitors if they're given the opportunity.

Serious reform is needed. The current set up for campaign contributions just begs for corruption and lobbying rules are deeply flawed.

  • The Federal Reserve does not have the trillions it would take to nationalize Health Care. So it simply prints the money and loans it to the Government, with interest i might add,on the premise that you the people will pay back the Government through Tax's.

  • I would absolutely love to see the end of the Fed.

It is an Unconstitutional Ponzi scheme. We are no longer a country based upon resources as capital and wealth, but debt.

Ron Paul was dead on when he said the Government cannot give you that which it does not have!.

The government has no money, it does not own it and it does not regulate it.

In order for the Government to fund any program that it sees fit it must receive a loan from the Federal Reserve.

  • "I don't think he's quite willing to criticize Obama like Bush...but I am". Classic. Ron Paul 2012

  • I really like Ron Paul and always have but i disagree with him totally the government works for the PEOPLE first of all,and second people are turned around all the time and if they are not you might as well turn them away because people that have no insurance and no money get crappy care.people that patched up and sent on their way all the time,(yeah put a bandaid on a bullet wound and turn'em around ok that works dummy

  • I wonder if Larry King comprehended a word of what Ron Paul said? Probably not.

  • Moore is a big socialist anyways. He is a mediocre sensationalist hack and produces a product that is marketable to easily exploited minds to cash in on popular sentiments.

  • truth

  • I agree mostly with Paul, but he needs to realize that the political definitions of words rarely jives with the actual definitions. Political capitalism and free market=actual corporatism. Political conservatism and liberalism are based only on the social views of their subscribers, nothing else. Conservatives are rarely conservative economically (Paul is the exception, but then, he's a social liberal) and there isn't really a good way to be economically liberal, most are semi-socialist.

  • many libertarians do not believe in incorporation because it is an entitlement of individuals not being liable for business decisions they profit from which has ruined property rights in this country.free markets cannot properly operate with corporations. corporations were thought of as a form of communism by conservatives when the LLC first came into being, and it is collectivism which has no place in a free market and a truly free society. People need to own their business decisions.

  • tylerdurdenLLC:

"People need to own their business decisions."

I completely agree! And there's no better way to facilitate this than to empower workers by allowing them full workplace democracy and direct ownership over the means of production.

  • I see your point, but I respectfully disagree. Our capitalism ended with the federal reserve. =0) What are your views on the central bankers?

  • Comment removed

  • the banks run this country, from the fed reserve all the way down to agriculture and healthcare and they dont care anythining about the people its all about the money

  • Larry King owned

    Go RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 7638 subscribers and only 304 views! Great job youtube hiding what your doing!!!!

  • I love listening to Dr. paul and his common sense, he always has the right answers!

  • DR.Paul always gets to the real problem.

  • con. but the SEC goes after every financial manager in the country that is successful in their management of the investors money, call it a ponzi scheme, throw the manager in jail for life, return maybe 1% of the investors original investment and pocket the rest...this gov. IS full of SH*T!

  • Run , Ron, Run!

Ron Paul for President in 2012!

I love it ..."if someone wants something; the government has nothing to give to you, so they take it from someone who does and gives it to the person that asked for it"...this is theft and would be considered a crime if the cops caught this going on in your neighborhood...

socialism is illegal, but when the gov. does it , it is considered charitable...just the same goes with the giant Ponzi scheme going on in the Federal Reserve...! period!

  • RP kicking Larry kings butt all over the stage.

    *****

  • The federal government has fallen to treason and organized crime.

No man or body of elected officials rules this land. All of their power comes from the constitution. The constitution creates and defines what we call government, and when those we elect choose to act against the constitution in an attempt to overthrow the supreme law of the land, they are criminals, not government officials.

All they have left to enforce their rule is the power of tyranny, and terrorism, and I'm not afraid.

  • "Terrorism" does not come from caves, it's used by GOVERNMENTS. The word terrorism began with "The Red Terror" when the Soviets used Secret police, false arrest, seizure, torture, and murder TO SILENCE DISSENT.

That's what terrorism is, the government using fear in an attempt to silence dissent, and if we don't start calling them on their double talk and lies, it won't stop.

  • One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter.

Also, that is not the origin of the term.

Also; Bravo on RP kicking LK's face in.

  • @FreedomsReigning I agree with you, but actually "terror" was first used by the Jacobins after the French Revolution. The Jacobins used "The Terror" to scare the monarchy and church out of France.

  • RP kicked Larry King's ancient ass

  • This man should have been President.

  • Yes but he isn't an adequate salemen of his ideas, he runs as a libertarian which is political suicide, and now sadly, he is too old. We need either Gingrich to run or need to find someone entirely new

  • @DracoMalfoy87

No Gingrich. The jerk that went along with Clinton on NAFTA and is an all around sleaze. If it is a choice between Obama and Gingrich, I will stay home on election day, thank you.

  • Why wouldn't you want free trade in North America? I don't know much about Gingrich. I really just know he was like Reagan but not as cool.

  • @quartermain1961 we cant give up!

  • @quartermain1961 He will be, if enough of us vote him in!

  • @quartermain1961 He will be.

  • @quartermain1961 This man could be president still.

  • @quartermain1961 He still can be.
