  • I desire to know the theme of the musical piece intro name. For that favour Thanks a lot.

  • @Jaboolanee I think it might just be a little piece of music specifically composed for this sketch. It's obviously meant to be like the "Match of the Day" theme.

  • EUREAKA!!!

  • why didnt hitler play ????

  • @mohammedhosen696 because he's not a philosopher.

  • @mohammedhosen696 Because he's not a fucking philosopher.

  • @mohammedhosen696 hitler wasn't a philosopher

  • @mohammedhosen696

Because it's Germany verses Greece. Hitler was an Austrian philosopher.

  • FIFA should promote this skit during the World Cup.

  • It worth our ego.

  • "There's the ball... there's the ball..."

  • Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an apriori adjunctive nonatsulitic ethic; (some other guy said somethin that i couldn't pick up); and Marx is arguing that it was offsides... Marx is right cause once ur past the last defender the ball is the offside marker... and when he flicks the ball to the guy for the head he is ahead of the ball, thus offside... and its not offsides monty python its offside... no "s" at the end

  • My favourite of the Python sketches.

  • ΕΥΡΗΚΑ !!!!

  • The Greeks Rock!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hehehe this is the first and only time in my life I admit this...

... but Marx was right =P

  • hegel is mad

  • This is hillarious if only one knows the basics of each of these philosophers ideas....great vid...

  • greatest skit ever

  • Evidently not. What a shame

  • You've just gotta love Monty Python.

  • marx is right!

that was a clear offside! :D

  • hahaha!!!!!!

  • the best football match i have ever seen in my live.

  • "Beckenbauer obviously a surprise there"

This is still one of my favorite Monty Python skits.

  • Well worked winning goal, lovely movement and a fine finish .

  • ".....and Marx is claiming it was offsides."

    Hillarious

  • marx shoulda been the ref! He was way offsides :D

  • "he accused Confucius of having no free will..."

    lol, nice video.

  • I think it would be quite funny if there was an online game of this

  • i get some of the subtle humor but not all

    explanation?

  • you are going to have to be more precise. What did you want to know?

  • Read some Kant.

  • ...won again!!

  • This is awesome! Though I must be quite a nerd to get all the subtle humor. Monty Python rocks!

  • The Brits; Pelagius, Anselm, Beckett, Duns Scotus, Ockham (the erasor on defence), Hobbes, Hume, Adams, Mill and Russel.

    Manager; Thomas More.

Bet that Pelagius will be arguing with the linesman st.Augustine !

  • WHOOT WHOOT!!

    GO CONFUCIOUS!!

  • So funny!

  • Yeahh baby, Archi got the right idea!

  • My favourite sketch. I'm confused though; why didn't they include Søren Kierkegaard - they always do. :p

  • kierkegaard was danish. this is greece vs. germany.

  • Nietzsche did said Confucious didn't have free will, so he deserved the yellow card..

And Marx was right it was clearly an offside...lol

    ;P

  • ....and the Germans are disputing it! Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunctive non-naturalistic ethics canned by the categorical imperative, his holding that ontologically exists only in the imagination, and Marx is claiming it was offside.

    I love it!

  • actually, that was kant's argument not "canned".

  • My bad...

  • Firstly, this was the finals. Secondly, it was offsides.

  • Any bets on the next match: Britain vs. Greece?

  • This is so damn funny...
