I know her brother quit dancing several years ago (although I did hear that that was because he broke a toe, not because of his age), so even if his sister is a couple years younger that he is, she should be about ready to quit too. At least, such was my reasoning. But if she's only 29, than we get to see a lot more amazing stuff from her then. Yay!!!

She's so versatile! She goes from Spanish to French to whatever country the heroine of the next ballet is from! But her brother is my teacher, and he retired several years ago. Isn't she getting a little old to keep doing so much?
@littlemissballet101 Ah, but you should have seen Leslie Collier dance this role - so sunny and effortless even if she was from an era when legs didn't hit ceiling! Musicality - not the same as keeping in time! - is missing here, much as I love Nunez!
@MrKLT1945 i have seen leslie collier dance this role, i have a copy of the filmed version of hers. but i still prefer nunez. technique-wise, nunez is better. plus she is more effective as a comedian than leslie. and she succeeds too in the drama part, in the solo scene where nunez was left in the room locked and she imagined having kids -- she nailed that scene compared to collier. the two have slight differences in their dancing, both the quiet and fun moments of nunez makes her the best.

This is my lest favorite variation. She is a remarkable dancer, but in this variation, I find her movements too controlled and all technique.
