I used to play MapleStory; now I play La Tale. It's just a better game.

I played MS for 3 years and spent so much money. The makers of La Tale aren't nearly as greedy as Nexon.

Well, I played MS for 3 years and it always bothered me how you couldn't run or jump very high. LaTale fixed both of those problems. The Astro items are cheaper than NX items and there isn't much class discrimination in LaTale. Also, not to mention...

THE MOVES ARE FLIPPIN' SHINY. :D

The downside is that because of cool down time on pots, you die a lot more and there's no wait time between getting hit. D:

LaTale seems to be a grindfest even more than maplestory and I didnt think that was possible and I never know when im finished with quests because theres no prompt. If you make an assasin you can jump high and run fast. If every class can do the same then the RPG element is gone

Really? I think it's fun to fight there, especially if you have a melee class. It's like a constant fighting game. :D

You get more moves than in MS, too; the only downside is you don't have many buffs.

The item upgrading is fast and simple--it really helps you acquire the items you want easily.

And the problem I have with assassins is that you have to spend so much on stars and equips to be considered good. Every time I make a character on MS, even if its stats are perfect (even when lukless) and I have scrolled equips, I always receive some sort of discrimination because I'm not godly.

In LaTale, about every class is equal so you can choose which one has the most fun gameplay without worry.

Oh, and in MS, they make you spend ridiculous amounts of money if you mess up on your stats. In LaTale, you buy one reset book for in-game money and you're all good. Same thing with items preventing exp loss.

In MS' defense, though, safety charms aren't that expensive. I'm just saying that in LaTale you don't have to spend real money.

I'll never hate MS--it has great memories for me, it's just that I can find a lot more reasons to love Latale.

Latale isnt a total grindfest. There are also quests in latale and they give good exp and rewards. So if ur tired of grinding you can do quests. And the classes are balanced so no class is absolutely the best. amd the community is nice too :3

To become a gunslinger you have to start out with the explorer class. then when you become level 80 you go to the class upgrade center past the abyss ruins to upgrade your character to either gunslinger or treasure hunter.

Dunno about Maple Story but the lvling is a HELL of a pain for a f2p mmorpg :s.Been playing for a couple hours now and i'm still only lvl 10.Considering that lvl 200 is max. ( to my knowledge ) that sucks :P.I get 0,03% per green mob and a bit more from yellow ones ( that already do a good deal on dmg on yer ) o_O;;.The lvling part really messed up the fun for me already, even though I have can heavenly patience. T.T...but the game itself seems "decent" for a "side-scroll" so far >:P.

what the leveling is so easy i got level 52 in a month and i had extreme lag difficulties, at level 40 i used to get 4 levels every day... its simple compared to maple story level 50s taking a day , but with pq u could get like 3 levels aday all you have to do is train + better combos

Too much grinding... I'm at 74, and the quests really SUCK if you're both a Wizard AND soloing due to a BL that is: a) ignoring you once they're on your list. b) non-communicative. All I do is just read off convos. of them talking to those they ARE friends w/, but really close. I just can't trust anyone on who to be on my BL... I'm stuck killing 5000 monsters just to level up. And sooner it would lead up to 20,000 in the 100s.

I believe the max lvl is lvl 200. You might trash MS, if you are not an MS addict. This game has a lot less grinding at earlier levels: But you can acertain this- the grinding is less than half of MS at higher levels too. But as in return it has lag, which I cannot acertain will work for you because I don't lag but other people lag like crazy. They say it's the server's fault but it all depends on your computer for me. This game is pretty new compared to Maplestory. - Peace
