Its sopranos and mezzos are superb. Its basses are fine. Most of the baritones and

all of the tenors are terrible. Decade after decade; never changes.

Nice to hear something in addition to "I Dreamt I Dwelled". Thanks for posting.

One of the finest belcanto concert arias - and without any doubt the work of a genuine master composer with an own and strong handwriting, and who is much neglected today! The performers are excellent, Manuela Custer is awesome!!!
