this was so inspiring. my family on both sides is originally from the south, but eventually settled up north. both of my grandmothers are from south carolina. I can appreciate this video, in so many ways. thanks for sharing..
I loved the photo of all the people sitting around, obviously replete after one of Miss Edna's meals - with Tennessee Williams looking especially satisfied...If it's possible to get ahold of a copy of that photograph I'd be most grateful ! (My movie is called U & ME & TENNESSEE - an American romance...) Thanks again for an excellent portrait !
This is a wonderful movie. Thank you so very much for making it. I recently made a documentary about the only man in Scotland who knew Tennessee Williams and had a stack of letters from Tenn that no one had seen. His name was Konrad Hopkins, and he and Tenn often went downstairs from Tenn's apartment to dine in Johnny Nicholson's! I spoke to Johnny Nicholson briefly a few years back. Lovely to see Miss Lewis and Scott - A terrific movie! Thanks!
So glad to see this. My family knew her family around the Lahore/Unionville area in Orange County. My mother treasured her cookbook, and it's been a way for me to recreate the way my grandmother cooked.
Very beautiful documentary. i just finished reading the cookbook they did together, and about their unique relationship. They were both blessed to have spent the time with each other.
Tasteful and nourishing. Thanks.

This was so rewarding to watch. Does anyone have Edna's first, out of print book - and if so - is it worth getting if you have her other books?

I had the pleasure of dinning with Ms. Edna in 1997 at the ACF South East Regional Conference, she was indeed inspiring!
Very enlightening film, I'm glad I watched and subscribed so I could share it!
See you on facebook.
Thanks,
