I got this plane a few days ago and I am having a problem: The plane is rolling to the right (pulling to the right so I have to always use ailerons to the left to keep it straight) and I can't figure out why. I checked the flaps and they are aligned. I have also moved the battery closer to the CG because I thought that was the problem but it didn't work.
@felipesgirl35 hey im no expert but i can try to help u... this may not be a cg problem at all, try adding left trim on your radio to counter out the right, let me know it this helped :) chris
$170 for foam and sukoi electronics????!!!!!!!!??????? this is in hobby town usa ., really hope this comes down in price by at least $70 becaues i really want one
Just got one myself, this is what I have been waiting for. It is not underpowered but you must use the 150 batteries. I have been flying mine outdoors early in the mornings at our field and late in the day in front of my house. Love it, well worth the money. I just ordered a PNP as a back up, don't want to be without it if/when I crash it. Love it!!!
i got one lol really its worth man. it does all the 3d moves. get the plane by itself and bind with your specktrum radio and fly in your bedroom... for just $109 in hobbytown usa.
I see you removed those stupid air brakes. Good man. I can't really see how they would be helpful. Sure, they will slow you down in a dive, but that's why the throttle goes up AND down. Pretty standard practice for me, but it seems that people that use these brakes are clueless. I also can't help but notice that throttle is actually required to maintain speed in a dive while using the brakes, and overall would only shorten your flight time.
No, it's not. Even on a downline, even removing 100% throttle would NOT slow the airframe down. This is what the air brakes are for.
On the downline, the planes momentum is carrying it, not the throttle. Why do you think all of the ETOC pilots use airbrakes? And I can tell you it's not to save battery run time ;)
Why do I think all of the ETOC pilots use airbrakes? Well, in fact, I don't think that at all. I just watched 10 different ETOC championship videos and NOT A SINGLE ONE was using airbrakes.
I just asked seth arnold, and ryan archer, two of my friends and fellow flying buddies, and they both said they use airbrakes during ETOC, especially on airframes with less drag. Airbrakes are not for beginners only. They help slow the airframe down and keep a constant airspeed. duh.
You didn't ask those guys. You don't even know them, let alone 'flying buddies.' And somehow, asking one was not good enough, why? In case one of them was lying or didn't really know what he was talking about?
I'll help you out by playing along with your little fantasy and maybe keep your reality from falling apart. Just smile and nod. A flat wing has low drag. Good enough.
You have officially been blocked from me. Firstly, yes, I do infact talk to them on a regular basis. Don't believe me? Go ahead, talk to Ryan and Seth themselves, I talk to them often. Secondly, stop being full of BS.

Nice 3D skills :) I was actually impressed with how little throw was used on rudder to achieve knife-edge.

Actually, ther airbrakes slow the aircraft down, and help keep the speed the same no matter what angle the plane is in.
greatplanesman 2 years ago
Yes, I am aware of that. That's what the throttle control is for.
