Samsung Galaxy S suffers lag with its sh!t RFS outdated filing system.

Put 2.2.1 on it, with an updated filing system should perform much better.

Hopefully Samsung will pull their heads out of their arse's and put ext4 file system on Galaxy S. Bet it will beat most phones.

@imahavedat I have a Samsung Galaxy S (Running 2.2, not 2.2.1) i9000 international version, and I used RyanZA's OCLF 2.0, which changes file system to ext2 and in Quadrant I get 1915. This beats all other smartphones on the market.

No :), i read many articles abou tegras 2 and nobody even said that it's better than sgx 540. Tegra 2's has the same gpu as tegra 1 but with a bit higher clocks. That is very old technology.

My galaxy s gets 78 fps in neocore. Now wait for tegra 2's phones score.

Does anyone have a problem with this Captivate phone yet? I've got one problem and fucking annoying. Everytime i charged it(full or not) , it will turn itself off over night and i will wake up late since the phone is my freakin alarm. Missed a bunch of calls, late for work. FML because of this phone. Contacted Samsung, replaced the battery then charger but still the same shit. Effin Samsung still refuse to replace the phone. So i'm stuck with a dumbfuck phone. Let me know if u can help.

Take the laptop for example, ever wondered why you don't see those ugly holes for cooling on a Mac? cause they hide it between the screen and keyboard where it can't be easily seen but also doesn't cool very well, so they underclock the hardware so prevent it overheating. Hence I always say Apple sells you not a product, but a life style, and an expensive and restricting one too.

@foxh8er Samsung likes to support the codecs. MKVs up to 720p are smooth. 1080p stutters a bit.

I tried flac files on the stock music player,Lithium player, Player Pro, PowerAMP, and Winamp. They all play, but only PowerAMP can read tags.

I was amazed 400x800 looks better on the 4" SAMOLED rather than the smaller 3.7" AMOLED, check it for yourself

@08JOHNPATRICK I work for att Customer Relations, Which is the department you have to go to cancel your service, unless you had mulitple lines of service there is no way that you had that much of an etf, if they are not directing you to Customer relations or to tech. your status of your account is not high enough where any dept is able to help, you are then considered a customer that we do no want to have IE LTV1,(ie costing the company money, due to constant credits/adjustments)

from my estimates , the test went from about 2:00 to 3:54, which is a combined total of 114 seconds and we know it rendered 2388 frames, divided by 114 seconds, it ends up being about 20.1 frames per second, which for the graphics it was producing on that phone is amazing
