dont use max watts to power your subs!!!!

this is 400 watts rms, buy a 400 watt rms amp if you are only getting one sub, or a 300 watt rms amp, whatever your budget is you know.

A 300 watt RMS amp will be more expensive than a 1000 or a 1200 max watt amp but it will sound 100 times better.

you only need an amp thats gonna push 300w rms to the sub. you will only be putting one 4 ohm load on the amp (less ohms, more power goes through), so it will only need an amp that will push 300w rms @4ohms to one sub (300/1=1) make sure its at 4 ohms though. 300 rms at 2 ohms means it will put out roughly half at 4 ohms

im saving up to get a couple kenwoods also. i am no expert but i know that one 12 inch hits pretty hard. hard enough to turn heads. but go with a 1000 watt amp. you can find a box at a flea market for a deascent price.

u can get a average amp that puts out atleast 350rms not peak you can use either a ported enclosure or ported although ported sounds better and build your own box trust me dont buy one or have one made and you dont really need a capacitor this isnt that powerful of a sub so it wont drain your battery
