  • We may be located on South America but we share some of the same culture and customs because we share some of the same ancestors. I'm tired of this Trini GT beef. Yall acting like yall still in prep A. We don't talk and act or share the same diet like our South American neighbors because we don't have the same Ancestors. So stop yuh foolishness.

  • Yes how does gt ppl play steelpan they knows nothing of that they always steak other people culture

  • @ravig16 u sud liesen to the video again n hear wat they said how we gt people adopt these culture before u talk jus like wat gtperformah said your ignorance does not change history.

  • Sorry come again how is chutney a guyanese thing? LOL n how yall indo carribeans...yall in south america thank you now stop claimin sumthin especially chutney soca that the great sundar popo of trinidad created

  • All credit to Sundar, but Chutney was developing years before it was labeled.

The Mootoo Brothers was a Guyanese band credited as the first to mix Afro & Indo riddims. They were a back up band to the most known Trini artists of that time.

Ya pass ya eye on their contributions and contributions from Trini musicians who developed "dougla" music before Sundar’s time.

Your bias may blind you to contributions Guyanese made to Caribbean music, but your ignorance does not change history.

  • love my country
