Im curious. Why not just burn that end with flame and then twist it so its melted together, like someone does to the end of their twist or braid to keep it locked. The glue it to the tail. Well if if its synthetic.
This is great! I'm working on a project where I'll need to be furring a tail soon (fox) and this method looks far simpler than what I was planning on doing.
Out of curiousity, how many ounces of hair was in that bag?
For the headpiece, do you got glue the hair onto the fur on the head? Or would you run it through a hole in the fur to make it look real?

@shinobibadger Each bag is around 4oz. How many it takes to do a tail depends on the length of the hair but 3-5 is reasonable.
