  • For the headpiece, do you got glue the hair onto the fur on the head? Or would you run it through a hole in the fur to make it look real?

  • Im curious. Why not just burn that end with flame and then twist it so its melted together, like someone does to the end of their twist or braid to keep it locked. The glue it to the tail. Well if if its synthetic.

  • This is awesome.... I might have to make my skunk tail using this method.

  • Haha. This is how I've been doing it and I thought I was cheating by using the glue gun. I feel better now.

  • Awsome! This was very helpful, thank you!

  • would this method work good for hair on a fursuit headpiece too?

  • @Ryataro21 It works for fursuit head hair too yup. And manes.

  • @Beetle91 Cool - thanks for posting - working on a realistic lion fursuit and this info is just what I needed.

  • Do you have an airbrush machine? And if you do, what kind do you have?

  • very helpful C: just wondering, where do you usually buy the wefts?

  • @amychaogirl Google Doctored Locks. And search their site for jumbo braid

  • @Beetle91 thank you

  • This is great! I'm working on a project where I'll need to be furring a tail soon (fox) and this method looks far simpler than what I was planning on doing.

Out of curiousity, how many ounces of hair was in that bag?

  • @shinobibadger Each bag is around 4oz. How many it takes to do a tail depends on the length of the hair but 3-5 is reasonable.

  • @Beetle91 Thanks for the tip!

  • Thank you for this!! :D

  • Haha love the song. XD
