This is one of my older reviews where i used to point a digital camera to my television, so everything in the background would end up being in the video. Now that i can record directly from my pc, i never have to make videos like this again.
I can't wait. I heard this was being released here in the US as Arcade Shooter Illevo. I love old school bullet hell shooters! Horray for the Wii and companies bringing strange Japanese titles to our shores! Xbox 360 got the Raiden compilations but what about PS3? Where are their retro games. Looks like Wii is the winner for retro type titles!
Good to see someone doing such reviews but just a couple of clarifications. If you think most shooters take themselves seriously then there's obviously a hell of a lot of shooters that you haven't played.
Secondly, Radio Allergy, or Radirgy, may have been released on the GC but it's a Dreamcast game and was originally on the Naomi Arcade Hardware, which is basically a DC with more ram.
i was looking up shoot em up games on play-asia, cuz' i was going to import castle of shikigami 3 and ultimate shooter collection (i live in Europe) and planned to order them next month when i get paid. And then, in stumbled upon this one. Didn't know what to think about it especially since Famitsu didn't rated it very high (24/40) but i don't trust them that much. I was looking for a review of it and there was yours. thank you for this, i'm definetly going to import it. I subscribe to you !
Mmmh, i think i'd go for Jikkyo Oshaberi Parodius. Joji Yanami's voice commenting on every single action you do is hilarious. Too bas it's thee only one in the Super Famicom Trilogy that i don't own yet, i spotted it twice on an import website, and both time i wanted to order it it was too late. Nevertheless, it was a true technical achievement on the Super Famicom, as far as graphics and sound go.
I dunno either, but thanks. I try to review stuff that isn't being reviewed elsewhere. I've played Shikigami, the PS2 ones as well as the one on the Wii. I may review that someday.

I use the arcade stick. It's fun to play arcade style. ;-)

Its called Ultimate Shooting Collection for Wii. it has Raido Allergy, Karasu, and Chaos Field. It comes out Dec 15th for $29.99. :D
And Im totally getting it.
