i put this exact same intake on my car and the CHECK ENGINE light came on....

i m not a real car export but i tested it in my car same exact thing nd then i noticed that there are 2 wire connecting to my stock air filter box 1 of them was air flow sensor nd other 1 was air temp sensor maybe in ur car its a same thing ps mine is 99 corolla

Its okay....I have a Filter in my clio...makes it sound like a Civic Type R or something...its a cheap alternative to an exhaust for noise. But doesn't help performance in much ways...

Go for a quality air filter a K&N 57i or something, those air filters sold at halfords and motorworld are awful, they make the car sound like its farting.
