I believe in qi, maybe even qiu emission, I am beginning to learn qigong, and have loked at kundalini meditation and Tibetan practises, but I'm skeptical of this, these people look like they are in trance, not doing qigong or nei gong. I know that qigong excerises has benefits but what are benefits of the hypnotic trance, which look quite the opposite tbh.
What crap and fraud… There are people who have powerful abilities with Qi, but this is not one of those people. Peng Si Yu and Madame Min Ou Yang as well as some of their students have real power.
Luckily for me I am 通气 and can see peoples Qi so all I need to do is see the video to know that there is no real interaction with Qi and that he is a fraud. He has no foundation, his Qi is all the way up in his chest, the points of his body are closed so Qi cannot flow properly to the dan tien or to the legs, in short I can see no real power in him.
@12Tamtui well if you are infact right and not just trolling then i must have been fooling my self for the last 12 years of my life...Thanks for enlightening me /salute
@tekproxy who exsacly need's convincing and what do they need convincing off?
Does this apply to all old knowledge? I have come across alot of old knowledge that actually has alot of practical use in todays society. Its just a matter of how you apply it
@darknagual I don't think people realize just how fundamentally drastic our knowledge of the universe would shift if chi like in this video actually existed and could not be explained by something participant hypnosis. We know quite a bit about forces in the universe, and to have completely missed the ability for one human to shove around another would be the single greatest scientific discovery ever. Any scientist would love to discover something like that, yet no good evidence is forthcoming.
Hypnosis does not begin and end with Erickson. Of course, most of what I've read on the topic is somewhat less than 50 years old as it generally comes from current journals.
But, while this certainly is a fascinating topic, I simply don't have time to more than glance at the literature... mostly because I AM researching what I'm interested in, which is complexity and adaptive systems... of which the brain is but one example.
Nothing in this video showed anything more than pseudo-trance and hypnotic suggestion. It's a neat trick, but nothing is flowing between the master and the recipient except body language and cultural programing.
If this was so fake how is it that all the people being moved by the chi dance and move IN UNISON with his guiding hands, and they have their eyes closed as if lost in a trance? Surely they couldn't see his hands with their eyes closed and really be able to maneuver themselves that way by themselves.
For starters, you may want to read up on mirror neurons some time. Of course other factors, such as an exageration of physiological tremor or other natural rhythmic processes. As for the trance, if you will notice, I mentioned it... but trance is a neurological process, no less mystical than ocular reflex or normal speech. The fact of the matter is that, yes, they really could be moving by themselves as they do without the need for "chi".
I say this with utmost respect , but I saw a video the other day of Christians acting drunk and laughing (full of the hioly spirit they say) Well it sure reminds me of this.
it is real. my master to do the same things, you can feel when he is pushing you and you can feel how chi master effect you body moven, thnaks for share.
Qi can do this yes. BUT this not becasue this master transmits it through to me, this energy is within all of us and everywhere some call it Divine love, God, qi or whatever they want to, the video seems to show that the master can send qi into another person which he may be able to do with his students but I don't think he could do it to an unwilling person. You could do this yourselves and in fact the people are doing it themselves with the help of the master.
BTW i agree with you here. What you see in this video is merely a way to reach this goal of being able to be open to this devine love, god, Qi.Wether or not you beleive its the master transmitting the energy, in the long run it all leads to this
Lol. This is really funny but also interesting, were is this master I would love to 'feel' this techniques on me, you can fool the westerners but I live in Mainland China and have met real masters, please let me know where he teaches as I doubt he can do this on un-hypnotised people, all this seems to be is the hypnotic gullabilty of students, from which Taoist School or tradition does this so called master come from. I beleive in Qi, it is everywhere not just in China lol or for chinese masters
People automatically assume its a form of hypnosis, well maybe it is.Hypnosis induced by chi flow which allows you to let go of any unwanted things with in your body and mind. This is a true Taoist practice and has been around for a long time to aid with people's healing and progression
now you say you doubt it will effect you because you cant be hypnotized. That only means you can not benefit from this since resisting is not the purpose of this practice, the idea is to let go of any restraints, tension, fears which eventually results in a peacfull mind, healthy body and balanced yin/yang.And it works 2 ways, you got to allow it to happen
In order for this energy to do what it is intended to do the recipient must be open, relaxed, and in a receptive state.Resisting it would mean it would have very little effect
This suppose master is a fraud....no center, no balance, no honesty, no respect.... Becareful of fakes!

If this convinces you, your critical thinking skills need work. Old knowledge might be mysterious, but that does not make it true.
