@WildSpikez Their parents have a Spanish accent because their family including their parents is Mexican. Max and Emmy are what we know as Mexican-Americans or Chicanos, if you ask me though they're more like Pochos (Americanized Mexicans) because they lack Spanish fluency and do not seem to have much of a Hispanic culture surrounding them. NO OFFENSE. The fact that Max looks Cambodian (Asian) might be because there are some Mexicans that also have some Asian ancestry in their background. :)

And what's really neat is that many years later I am a (kind of) award-winning dragon artist. Of course the dragons I do now are more realistic and scarier, but every once in a while I'll draw some friendly, cute ones. I'm even writing a book. Ahh, the nostalgia...

This show was hella gay. I always wondered how in the living hell did they come across a crystal magic rock. And it just automatically teleported them into another deminsion & time zone. Man I tell ya Maya & Miguel was waaaay better than this crap. That damn blue dragon reminded me of Patrick from Spongebob. Still cant understand why JLO named her children after these characters. SMH I guess the ignorant wierd green looking dragon was named after the rapper Lil Wayne. (Hence "Weezy")
