@Helstintejag A little, but what I'm worried about is the support under the heatsinks.
As you know, the board sits on brass stand off's that match the hight of the bolts used for the stock heatsinks/X-Clamps, thus keeping the board level. Many of the problems with the 360 arise from the motherboard flexing, due to the (over)heating and cooling process, causing the solder under the chips to fracture. So basically, how is the board supported under the heatsinks and is the board level?
@Helstintejag LOL, I already have my 360 in the XB01 case, "JTAG'd" it, and have fitted a 3.5" HDD by soldering in my own SATA + 12v cables. I also re-flow 360's on a regular basis. You really shouldn't make presumptions, I'm just after some info before I lay out almost another £100 on this little project of mine.
i just confirmed that my XB01 does fuck up my Wireless connections :-(
Did you experience any problems with your Headset, Wireless or Normal?
Also every now and then the Guide Menu pops up without me hitting the button.
My Wireless Headset was completely useless, disconnecting, reconnecting and the other side couldn't hear me clearly.
uninstalled my 360 from the XB01 and the Wireless Headset worked fine again, just installed it again to be sure, no 5 minutes and the Headset lost connection WTF
this is an amazing job you did the cooling otions are endless with the lin li case. I gutted my elite 2 days ago and swapped cases and now I'm playing wih a silent xbox, gotta love this case for its economics and space saving.
The problem recording 10-13dB sound level in a normal home with basic computer equipment is hard, professionals would even claim its impossible (and I agree with them) but I´ll have spend at least $25 000 dampening my house from sounds, basically everything that makes sounds (yes I do have a problem with background sounds) during this recording the house where empty besides me off course and everything turned off even then,
Its realy Lame when some users can't understand the new fatures in "2008 Dashboard Update: New Xbox Experience" like the: Play from Hard Drive: This Feature allows you to copy most Xbox 360 games to your hard drive, cutting load times considerably (original disc still required to play).
Depends on the game, some load faster and other load slower, such as Halo 3. I install Lost Odyssey to the HD so I don't have to wait AS long, but there still is a good bit of loading.
Play a game from the disc, because I want to see how much "quieter" this case actually makes it.
Lame, the sound from the 360 is from the DVD drive spinning at 12x and he didn't even put a game in or play one. The only thing this case is good for is keep the thing cool from RROD.
Nice mod The cost is a bit high though IMO buying a new case and an expensive one at that but it is QUIET and leaves room for moding the cooling system
How did you power all the fans?

Hi Helstintejag, do you have an images or info about how you fit these heatsinks to the mobo? I take it the black screws are no longer used?
Thanks :)

Ditto, and I'd like to see a different video where I didn't have to turn my volume on max just to here the noise yo tried to make.
