  • Awe, well thank you for sharing :-)

  • Harlem is an OUTSTANDING Poem, and Langston Hughes is an outstanding poet. (He is one of my all time favorites.) Try reading it though with a curious menace--I think that's how he meant it. Hughes may be known for his Blues Rhythms--but here he brilliantly intertwines the two images of a sore and a raisin, and ends with a hanging question. This is one of his best--but of course he has a lot of bests.

  • The title is harlem

  • Hi, can you check out my poetry song!!!

    Thanks & leave comments!!!

    P.S

    This is really Nice!!!

  • a dream deffered by langston huges . what happen to a dream deffered ? does it dry up like a rasin in the sun or fester like a sore and then run does it staink like rotton meat or crust and sugar over like a surupy sweet maby it just sags like a heavy load ..... or does it explode

  • I believe real dreams are given by God to us like God gave joesph a dream. I don't ever believe dreams can be deferred I truly believe that when God give us a dream the time is already pre-set , pre-appointed if you will. If your dreams are to fulfill God's purposes and not your own they will come to past no matter what!

  • Very nice

    I love that poem

Langston hughes is a great poet, writer and other things.

  • This is very nice. I'm happy you were inspired by Hughes poetry.
