  • What a great blues singer ,,,,,,,,and just a kid at the time

  • Kieth was hittin' the music/no doubt he was just part of the gig,,what a great group.wyman on incredible bass on off the hook

  • ...and they had to be pushed on the stage, because they had the unenviable task of following the Hradest Working Man in Show Business, Mr. Please, Please, Please Himself, Mr. Dynamite Jaaaaaaames Brown!

  • mick was always underrated as a maracas player.

  • hey cowboy they might have been a jump ahead in some areas but performing live wasnt one of them. i like the BEATLES but noone beats the STONES live

  • i just watched the BEATLES youtube of their first ED SULLIVAN appearance it was real good & definately sgnificant. but they cant hang with the STONES live

  • man..thanks for posted it...i love brian jones he is my greatest icon all over in the world...

  • wonderful, thanxs from brazil, valeu!!!

  • greatest rock n roll performance ever ... this was it...they said ..." were here and were here to stay "...thank god keith didn't trip over his chord on the way on....could have changed history...great sounding post ...gary....new york

  • such a great reaction to the music, funny, it was our American music just being given a twist from the Stones and the other British invasion groups. This song had been done by Chuck Berry just a few years before, but because the Stones did it, it got much more acclaim. What today's music scene needs is another invasion, whether it be from Britain or from here, need to have the Blues and old time Rock and Roll reintroduced to today's youth, whose music appreciation has been ruined by all the crap

  • Billy fest spiewa z gumą w pysku...

  • no bass?

  • This was The Rolling Stones I loved. My love of the group died a little with Brian, though I still bought all their records. One of my fondest memories is watching Brian Jones play slide guitar on "Little Red Rooster" from the fifth row of The San Francisco Civic Auditorium. I started playing harmonica and slide guitar because of him. I miss him.

  • @bobbilse I totally agree I also continued to buy their records but for me this was when they were at their best. I also think that Mick dancing then was better. He later just kinda floated around. It looked good when Tina Turner did it not so much for him. Just my opinion.

  • that was the day a lot of those girls got un -nerded . by the looks of it some of those guys got un nerded too

  • Billy Wyman ~~ You are missed !

  • @ukraininoak Agreed! "They need Bill. Without him, they're a funk band!" - quote Bob Dylan

  • @skinnyskaller

Apparently , Bill W. is practicing with the 'rest' again !

  • Great Post I gotta hand it to you this is awesome and that is a VOX TEARDROP body guitar brian Jones is playin'

  • Shhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet this stuff is totally terrific! Thanks for posting it!

  • these guys seen more ass than a toilet seat back in the day listen to all those betty's squeal..

  • Great post.

  • Where is the bass player, Bill Wyman?

  • @kenny4504able

Bill Wyman is on the left side of your screen light colored shirt and dark vest.

  • what country and city? looks like a high school gym/ auditorium. great video for band and the, going crazy, audiance. the stones sure look like they are having fun too. best of all the stones are doing my favorite stones song, it's all over now.

  • @fg6971 USA, Santa Monica California

  • what is Brian playing?

    only Brian Jones...

  • @ben909ben Do you mean his guitar?

    It is a Vox Teardrop.

  • @Philtration Thanks, I thought it might have been an electric balalaika he made himself.

  • What a post, thank you very much.

  • They look great! It's amazing to think/remember that the establishment thought they looked like a bunch of long haired degenerates at this time.

  • Nevermind that, saw him. On an unrelated note there's a guy from the 1990's at 07:53. THIS IS MAGIC!

  • Where is Wyman?

  • press 7 for demoniac scream

  • I remember seeing this at the theatres when it came out 1965 .Stayed at the theatre for like all day to see this, thats when you could pay one price and stay all day long at the shows . What an amazing video love it thanks.

  • Those girls were flippin out - I'm surprised they didn't rush the stage.

  • SOOOOOOOOO AMAZING!!!!

  • Brian Jones is the best stone!

  • Mick's feet are like Alis and keith is rockin out!

  • this footage is just amazing! actually the stones look a little silly these days when they play compared to this.

  • If there was a perfect storm in music the T.A.M.I. Show was that.

  • @ebf1957 I agree. Great comment.!

  • @ebf1957 Man, you said it.

  • les solos de keith on accroché dés le début ! vrai rock ! vrai soliste! alors qu'on l'a tjrs considéré comme un bon rytmic ! ça me fout les boules

  • say memphis, listen to the beatles first ed sillivan show and these songs by the rolling stones careful now, yes all five songs, careful now, thats what makes the beatles one jump ahead of the stones, its a mixture of a certain brand of there style all rolled into one.

  • @wwwcowboy477 the Stones are and were blues rock; the Beatles were ABBA with electric guitars.

  • Ah - there he is!

  • Where's Bill Wyman?

  • Underrated band, that is strictly musically speaking, I mean their first two albums are perfect. They were the first to play real rock'n'roll in the UK, introduced the blues as a basis for rock music and with Brian extended the whole darn thang. They did not have a classically trained producer like George Martin to embellish the melodies nor did have genial manager like Epstein but they had Keith's rythm Brian's vision and knowledge together with Mick's voice and persona. Beatles are great too..

  • Reading Keef's book now, great to see this top notch footage still exists! Great act!

  • Mick is the greatest front man ever. I have been lucky enough to see The Stones live 4x and each time Mick brings it on.. Love these guys.. Best group/band ever...
