You don't hire a police officer unless he went to the police academy. You don't hire a doctor unless he went to medical school. But somehow it's okay for a person uneducated in the use of statistics and demography to write a whole book and make outrageous, unwarranted, conclusions? Steyn mis-uses statistics horribly... and this is the reason his lack of education is an issue.
