...Although I don't get it with your playing; how can you still be able to play in the lower half of the guitar, if the harmonic capo's on the 12th fret? Wouldn't it just be 12th fret harmonics the whole time??

The harmonic capo lets you play behind it because it's not actually pushing down the string. It touches it just enough to make the harmonic so when you press down on the string behind it it's not touching the string anymore. It's a neat little tool and would love to see someone use it on like the 7th or 5th fret instead of the 12th.
