i used the recording method ingame. It slows down the game so you have a smooth framerate when you collect all shots made by the game.

The problem is, that the graphics crash when there is a huge amount of particles. I cant make too much explosions......

well there were plenty of explosions in the first scene with the helicopters... maybe a small scale test should be in order first :D

Watch Explosion Nr 1 and 2, there are scenes which are bright-cutted off. Thats the particle problem. These Explosions were too big.

yeah, it seems there's a limit to how big an explosion can be. could it be because of the performance of your computer or just the game?

Its the Game, this limit does not depend on the computer-power.....

This type of rendering a videoscene can be done with EVERY hardware. It doesnt matter how good it is. The product, i mean the video after all is as good as this. While recording the scene it takes more time with a slower computer, but the result is the same.

yeah i know, i was just saying that if the program itself wasn't limited to a certain number of calculations (because basically that's what all these explosions are) then it would have been much more fun :)

Naja, da gibts einen Trick, mit dem du mit nahezu jedem System das genauso flüssig bekommst.

Ich hab nen E6600 @ 3GHz, eine GTX 275, 4GB Ram und ein RAID 0 aus 2 500GB Samsung Spinpoint F1 Platten.

Normalerweise habe ich auch nur 3-4FPS, aber das Game verlangsamt das so, dass man beim aufnehmen nachher dann die vollen 30FPS hat, wenn man das dann zusammenschneidet...

Guck in den Link der Beschreibung, dort steht wies geht :)
