  • @paintballforlife06 this cartoon is mutch better than the spiderman movies

is much more like the comics

  • @TheDeinonichos Don't bother with him. I remember seeing him posting the same crap on the SSM IMDB boards a couple years ago. It's pretty obvious he's a troll.

  • @KCJ506 Or an DC fan...

  • is this still on tv if so what channel

  • This is my favorite version of the Goblin by far!

  • I heard two screams

  • lol, peter parkers eye loks like Rocks Lee from Naruto..rip off!

  • @9sangi6 your point? its a Eye, there not copyright on it o.0

  • even though i knew it was Norman, this episode had me second guessing it all the time lol, great show!

  • wow

  • I hate the part when Norman breaks Harry's leg at 2:31

  • I love scream like sound, when bombs are exploding.

  • I bet afterwords peter was like "u mad bro" to harry.

  • now this is one of the spider man series

  • What the hell is this? 90's version still owns more than this...

  • @Music4AII totally

  • @Music4AII Are you fucking kidding?! The 90's version of Green Goblin was an embarrassment. This version of the Norman/Green Goblin is actually the only version that finally did it right.

  • The Goblin in this series confused the hell out of me. They really did a great job with his story.

  • When I saw this episode I thought chameleon was the goblin but in the end it was Osborn who was the goblin

  • man this was the best spiderman show and one of my absolute favorite shows, let alone my favorite superhero shows... it was a big mistake for it to b cancelled... i mean it received critical acclaim and a cult following..... plus it had the best fight scenes... i rlly wish they wud continue the show... i hope they try to revive the show

  • @thebuckrogers22 It was because Disney didn't have full rights over the show.

  • i fuck you green goblin

  • I guessed that he framed Harry back in Season 1. The only thing that kept me from really pinning it on him was the fact that the Green Goblin appeared in front of "Norman Osborn" in one of the episodes.

  • And THAT was another theory for Harry to think Spider man MEANT to kill his dad.

  • lol dad was sick

  • Too bad Steve Blum's last line as Gobby was telling Spidey the pretty much rebunked Rule 1.

  • Just when I thought the animators made Goblin so played out (making the culprit seem so obvious) and yet so deviated (making it Harry instead of the traditional Norman), I was wrong.

Two birds with one stone: the animators kept to the traditional story of the Green Goblin AND found a surprising and original way to tell it.

  • DX Poor Harry! He's so sweet and innocent, poor baby. **gives him a hug**

  • surprised that Norman survived that it shows he lives at the end of the episode

  • NO WAY!! I ANT'T BELIEVE HARRY'S DAD WAS GREEN GOBLIN.

  • @1234mrgreatone watch spiderman the movie u fool!

  • @Autobot621 I WAS BEING SARCASTIC FUCKFACE

  • Damn, this looks good.

  • LOL

    Potato Potato!

  • >.> fucking disney canceling the marvel shows

  • EPIC END!!!!

  • The fact that they made us wonder who's the green goblin is what makes it great. I mean ive known for yours and still wasnt sure its gonna be Norman in the show. How stupid of them to cancel such an amazing toon..

  • That was an awful thing Norman has done to Harry. Norman Osborn is nothing but a big fat jerk, rude, and foolish.

  • @thomaswebhead Rude yes , evil yes , foolish NO !

  • Been catching up on these episodes recently. I thought there was something a little off when Harry was revealed as the Green Goblin, it was too obvious but at the same time we never actually saw him change. To think the man hurt his own son's leg so he would take the fall for his father's crime. That truly is evil.

  • The entire episode was pure genius. Deserves an Emmy.

  • the show got cancelled. It's sad, I know. Look it up on Wikipedia if you don't believe me. They're gonna make a new series instead based on the Ultimate Spiderman comics, and it's gonna come out in fall 2011.

  • ya no wat i loved about this series. is that they make it so every1 thinks harrys the goblin and u 4get he will always be norman osborn

  • was this the last show of the series

  • @SuperMicklovin sadly yes, those fuckers down at Disney cancelled the show....

  • @SuperSylar1 how did disney get involved? fuck they always ruin everything

  • @SuperMicklovin Disney bought off Marvel, they reviewed all the shows that Marvel had currently running and put them on the Disney channel for ratings, they tell us that the ratings for shows like Wolverine and the X-men as well as Spectacular Spiderman were low and cancelled them.

But I mean come on no wonder the ratings were low since the show had like 6 re-runs before it went on Disney. This is because the show was on hold due to the buying of Marvel. So Disney fucked us

  • @SuperSylar1 wow wat douche bags but i thought wolverine and the xmen had a series finale,i didnt no they got cancelled

  • @SuperMicklovin Correction. Warner Bros Did Not Renew The Show For A Third Season, And When Disney Bought Marvel, The Show was Cancelled By WB. The Same Thing Happened With Wolverine And The X Men.

  • @plushiepenguin oh :(

  • @SuperSylar1 Correction. Warner Bros Did Not Renew The Show For A Third Season, And When Disney Bought Marvel, The Show was Cancelled By WB.

  • M. Night: WHAT A TWIST!!!!!

  • At least the show ended the way it always should: A final epic showdown between Spider-Man and his greatest enemy.

  • They should really continue with Season 3. There are still so many plotholes and unsolved issues. But thanks to some freaking lawsuits, we've just lost what could've been this decade's 'Batman: The Animated Series'. A tragic loss, and for what? We've probably lost a great show here, and it's a shame the executives can't see that this show would end up making more money than half the stuff on Cartoon Network combined. Here's to a great a series.

  • @Theunknownfighter They did the same to Transformers Animated; another great show ended with too many loose ends.

  • finaly. thanx to this vid people can quit blabing about how it sucks that harry's the goblin wich was never a good reason to say it sucks in the first place.

  • Chameleon: i did not sign up for this. jumps out the helicopter 0:56 - 1:05

    3:13 oops

  • Chameleon: i did not sign up for this. jumps out the helicopter 0:56 - 1:05

  • this is my fav. spectacular spider-man episode

  • thats not how he should have died he should have died like in the movie

  • @ellnats he didn't die in that scene.

  • @ellnats He didn't die.

  • When I first saw this, I couldn't believe how a father could frame his own son like that. That is probably the darkest episode I've ever seen in a TV show. Spectacular Spider-Man is a really awesome show. Definitely one of my favorites.

  • @luigi370: In reality many fathers did much worse things to their sons... compared to them, Norman looks like a very responsible daddy. ;]

  • Comment removed

  • @luigi370: True, but it doesn't change the fact that it shouldn't be so surprising or revolting to us, the viewers. Normal Osborn is supposed to be "evil" in Marvel Universe, where there are some absolute moral values. In real life, where things are much more relative, Norman, being a father who supplies his son with all the money he needs, doesn't look that "bad" to me. ;)

  • Through out the series i actually had to guess who the goblin was. i mean everyone knows that Norman was the Green Goblin but this series didn't make it obvious and i actually believed it was Harry. I really wished they didn't cancel this series. its so .... SPECTACULAR!!!!

  • Norman is pretty cold, he broked his own son,s leg

  • 2:31-32 Ouch! That was disturbing.

  • they have this show on disneyXD alot

  • wat season and episode is this

  • Season 2 episode 13 final curtain

  • lol at 3:04 he was thinking im screwed

  • more like the movie even tho harry knows he still wants revenge

  • I like this battle even than in the first movie

  • pwned

  • I don't think they'd have been able to pull off a "Who is the Green Goblin?" story like this in the movies. The difference between TV storytelling and movies is too great.

  • Naturally Harry still loves his dad (hard for him not to really) but it's true Norman's sick. I think Spidey did that inanger - he didn't intend to kill Norman. I can't believe he framed his own son - guy's not right in the head.

  • Even worse, he tried to kill a guy who saved his life twice.

  • Yeah that's evil however you look at it. Poor Harry - having a dad like that.

  • You have to wonder why Harry wasn't more nuts or evil himself with a dad like that. Guess Norman didn't have much to do with his upbringing until he was a teenager.

  • Harry doesn't love his dad anymore. He almost killed Norman in the comics while helping Spider-man in the "Dark Reign" series.

  • I think they've changed it from the comics. Its obvious from what he said at the "funeral" that he still loves his dad.

  • normans not dead at the end of that episode it shows him boarding a plane 2 europe like in the comics

  • HOW MORE EVIL CAN ANY OTHER VILLAN GET!

  • Fire Lord Ozai, he took being an abusive parent even further than Norman.

  • I think psychologically both are on the same level of fucked up.

  • Norman and Harry? In the comics I agree, both have been shown to be psychotics (Harry was a real monster in those early 90s stories before his first "death").

  • Ozai and Norman.

  • Very: i that one character was canabalistic and he/she ate a close friend of a good guy; uses others as minions to protect thyself; burn bodies and show a pile of them in public; poison a planet; etc.

  • Norman is ruler of Earth's security and businesses in comics. Damn it. He helped beat Skrulls in Secret Invasion and made himself Iron Patriot.

  • Final Curtain

  • I always love the screaming noise of SSM Gobby's bombs

  • Thank you for uploading this!

  • The true face of evil, finally exposed, and it was not obvious like in the movie, this Green Goblin is truly evil and it was no spoilers.

This is by far the best episode ever

  • Comment removed

  • @eduardordz11 Agreed, i'd look at the crash site (he escaped) and beat him senseless, he broke the leg of his own son, i woudn't forgive that.
