  • Mike Thorton that is bad ass....

  • mike thorton ur a fucking herooooooo !!!!!!

  • One thing that bugs me is there age. This kind of work makes them have to grow up fast. And the fact that the Military doesn't give Vets their rights. They make them fight for it. My cousin and a lot of his buddies came out of the service fucked. That's why when i get into the CF i'm becoming maybe a MP, get my BIQ, and my jump wings.

  • Pure propaganda....

  • @zerocker45 whatever man, i hear what your saying but for us, this is nostalgic, it's a video from a time long gone! When games were just breaking out into the online arena! this is our moment of glory!

  • SWCC's are cool!

  • QUIT GIVING ADVICE ABOUT BUD/S OR ENLISTING IF YOU HAVE DONE NEITHER!!!!

I HAVEN'T BUT I SUGGEST U GO TO THEIR OFFICIAL RECRUITMENT WEBSITE

    sealswcc.com

  • this is NOT a documentary . it's one long ass recruit commercial .

  • I take my hat off to these brave men...mad respect!

  • hahah we dont use pavlows anymore

  • I WISH they would bring all our troops home :(

  • Strong men, too bad they don't accept woman, talk about equality...

But no wonder why they are beast.....lol

Navy Seals over Marines. My brother even agreed & he's a Marine.

Am i the only girl watching this?

  • @RachealLoves Despite what other people may say there's always a chance at being accepted, no matter who you are. Like the narrator said, confidence is key, and there is always a way.

Try not to compare the two. They may be a part of the same faction but they are two completely different things. The SEALs are special forces that endure long, tough challenging courses. Their missions are completely different to the marines.

  • @LiveAndLetDie222

Is that so? Unless there is going to be a law enforce on women being accepted to the Navy seals then it's possible. Besides that i don't think it is.

I still agree with what i said Navy seals over the Marines, eventhough yeah i know they are both great branches.....and all. But i don't see the Marines going after Bin Laden.

  • @RachealLoves umm there is a law that says women cannot join spec ops units

however they can be in supporting roles and have recently put together their own semi-spec ops units, but the fact remains not enough women want to go into that and even fewer are physically conditioned for it.

  • @mrfrosty8172

I suppose that's good information to in-take. And although I do agree with you but at the same time I think some woman are unaware of it. Some may surprise you, eh.

  • The USMC is no where near the SEALS. Just look at the marine Recon training and you will know the SEALS are the best

  • If those SEALs knew the truth about why they are fighting, they would quit the milityary. Here's some info on what the US governent is really about.

  • Now thats HONOR !!

  • from an appreciative canuck..thanks for being there troops :-)

  • @CAallday209 and @daitantamashii. You both are trying to argue two different arguments with each other. The general Marine Infantryman is very different than the general SEAL operator. That is a fact. There are exceptions to this, as that is why the USMC is the largest prior-service outlet to BUD/s. It is pointless to compare SOF groups as they each have different skill sets. I also strongly urge "daitantamashii" to consider the Army as a service. A lot of people fall too quickly for the USMC.

  • @NavySeal364 thats called the dolphin swim. and a lot of Marines can do it. one former recon Marine did the dolphin swim from alcatraz to the shore of san francisco for fun a couple of years ago. Marines are fucking salty. SEALS are hard and all but hop off theyre nuts.

  • @CAallday209 *Their

  • @CAallday209 But the simple fact remains - there is no comparison between Marines and SEALs. The only thing that comes close to SEALs in the Corps are MARSOC. That's cool if that one guy swam that far but for someone to say something like Marines are level with SEALs is just seriously bogus. And comparing different spec ops groups is silly too because they are all trained and built for specific needs and specialties.

  • @daitantamashii i wasnt comparing. you are comparing. and i think Recon/Force Recon/Marsoc Marines and SEALs are all friggin salty. and i'm not on either ones nuts like you are.

  • @CAallday209 I'm not on anyone's nuts, I was just stating reality. And I brought up comparison between each branch's spec ops groups so no one would try with that. Going into the Marines is something I am considering doing, I am not bashing or hating at all. There is reality and there is opinion. MrSurfer's comment is definitely opinion and I replied to you because you and MrSurfer are passively saying that MC is level with SEALs. That is not reality, just a very uneducated opinion.

  • @daitantamashii umm..lots of Marines are on par with SEALs. to state otherwise is uneducated. SEALs are human. Marines are human. lots of regular Marine infantry have worked with SEALs. they are both warriors. just look up some shit that has gone down in Ramadi. i did my time and dont want to say too much. but, get some time in. you'll see for yourself.

  • @daitantamashii

Something you understand (lots of people don't) is that all US Special Forces ( Marines included) are basically on the same level. The Crucible, or last stage of Marine bootcamp, has a lot of the same....for lack of a better word, "features" of Navy SEAL BUD/S and Army Ranger school. So yes, they are basically on the same tier, it's just the SEALs are called on more commonly for clandestine ops, the Marines not so much.

  • i dont think i can join,,, im full asian

  • @daasianboi Hey, don't worry about that! If you were born in America, then you're an American citizen. If not, I think you can simply get some papers saying you are an American citizen, then you can join. You can do it!

  • Navy Seals or USMC, who are the toughest?

  • @MisterFigge it can go both ways because i am going into USMC in September and there stories are amazing like these guys. it all depends who is calling the shots

  • Legionnaire's eat seal's for breakfast....

  • ...This program was brought to you by the US SEAL recruitment team!

  • I believe that Spetsnaz are better trained than the Seals. But i just love the seals man!!!

  • I believe that Spetsnaz are better trained than the Seals. But i just love the seals man!!

  • @zerocker45 no they aren't

  • After watching this video, if I were a terrorist I'd call it quits!

  • do u have 2 be a US citizen 2 join the Seals?

    what a brave bunch!

  • oh i cant wait to b a SEAL n go thru ALLL that hardcore trainin!!! im cocky n stubborn myself. PERFECT lol first things first... become a SWCC member. 2nd, correct my eye sight. 3rd, take college credits while still in SWCC n finally 4th, joinin the SEALs as an officer. i love runnin, swimmin, workin out n wanna get to experience the skydivin more than once. sounds so much fun lol n i always wanted to rescue a princess off the wall! i cant believe this is actually a JOB! sounds like paradise

  • @sinfulguitarz You sound like an uninformed youtube warrior.

  • @SoutHcouGars2010 r u a youtube proffessional lol?

  • do i need to join the navy before being a seal, or can i just enlist as a seal u know without having to be a sailor first and stuff

  • @metalwaffle94 From what people have told me, it's best to get your rate first. Even if you pass buds, and the seal training, it's not guaranteed you'll be put on a team, so get a rate first. It's rare to go straight from boot camp to buds from what I was told, so you're going to have to do your rate in between.

  • @metalwaffle94 You go to navy office. ask for SEAL Challenge Contract. You then enlist into the Navy picking a normal rating/job. Mine was AECF. Now since you enlisted you are in the DEP program. While in DEP you need to take/pass the Physical Screening Test for special operations/ special warfare. If you do well enough on your PST scores you get a SEAL Challenge Contract which overrides your original Navy job. i.e. Iam no longer AECF. After navy bootcamp go to Pre/buds. then BUD/s.

  • @metalwaffle94 The program they have now, they have "scouts" that ensure that you can pass the screening test. When you sign your contract you have to take a seperate job, but then they test you for the BUDs qualifying exam and if you pass it (which they have been training you to) you will go to BUDs right after boot camp. I suggest you do your research on the internet and get your information from the military directly as the way they do things changes year from year.

  • @metalwaffle94 it doesnt matter

  • @metalwaffle94

-Coming from an ex Navy Seal, yes you can enlist directly into SEALs. You must first score high enough on the ASVAB test. Once eligible you may then sign a SEAL contract, which basically states the Navy will allow your entry into boot camp and upon completion you will then go to pre-BUDs school (which is new). Pre-BUDS is also in Great Lakes, IL where you graduate from boot camp. Once complete, you will then ship off to Coronado, CA for BUDS!

  • @metalwaffle94 You can enlist specifically for Navy SEALs. But if you do not complete the training for any reason you will be required to retrain and reclass for the remainder of your contract.

  • @metalwaffle94 you have to be in the navy first for 4years im pretty sure

  • @metalwaffle94 SEAL has its own rate in the navy. (SO). You can get a contract for it by passing the SEAL screen test prior to entering boot camp. You can also get that contract in boot camp during week 2 I believe when you go to the combat pool. With a contract for SEAL, you'll go to BUDs prep first also located in great lakes. After you finish that you go to BUDs. It's definitely best to get a rate first. IT would definitely be helpful on a SEAL team if you can operate the comms as well.

  • @metalwaffle94 no. Enlist and go to Navy bootcamp or you can go officer by going to college and then you can become a SEAL. No one can just become one automatically.

  • @metalwaffle94 dummest thing iv ever red........

  • i think the ninja was the first special force unit. i mean they did recon, assassinations. espionage etc and they operated in 1, 2, 3, 4, etc man teams and they were highly trained and had special gear in about the 14th century

  • @TheBaah88 Do you think the spartans were special forces for their day...and if so I wonder who was first Ninja or Spartans?

  • Sas has thier own training SEALs have thier own training niether one of the two copies anyone

  • @atvracing10 no they have gone out on missions together, and have trained together.

  • seals was made by the sas? but anyways..i liked it.

  • @seargentbobbee22 not really. hitler created SF with his SS and the the uk took it from their, and then every one started to do it.

  • Comment removed

  • @seargentbobbee22 yes coach despite there potentially stemming from irrelavent british sas the navy seals are very good .Uk struggles with a bit of snow before you talk about them being a major military power as its claimed . Look at ww2 , months into the conflict outta money and municions to fight and had it not been for a major tactical error by hitler , would have had most of their army captured or destroyed at dunkirk . Team usa bailed them out

  • the seals training was made by the sas.

  • @Kelertasable no it was not. very different. look it up.

  • @7777eddie7777 I know for a fact the SEALs were originally trained by the SAS. All special forces of the world base themselves off of SAS training. IT'S A FACT! LOOK IT UP! Smart ass...

  • @Kelertasable true! however SEALs originated from UDT during world war 2. Something vastly different than SAS. The unit most influenced by the British SAS is the United States Delta Force.

  • @Kelertasable

The green beret took their inpirations from the finish fighting the russians during WW2.

  • Good stuff I liked it

  • 8:00 Wish I could have that camouflage in COD4

  • QUIT UR BITCHIN

u guys keep forgetting that we are on youtube

and i doubt any SF forces waste their time on the internet sending useless messages to each other

    u know what?

    imma go work out

  • @mrfrosty8172 hooyah

  • Who is the most elite special force in your opinion? Just a public opinion survey

  • either SEALs or SAS. my opinion.

  • @Tomlowlife why dont people get this!!! SAS is NOT equivilent to US navy SEAL's. the equivilent of SAS is the american Ranger, one up is the green beret, and one past the green beret is navy seal

  • @tellygeek

Wrong bud, your SF haven't got shit on the SAS. Who do you think trained Delta?

  • @MrGunwitch 1st Special Service Force, 'The Devil's Brigade' (also called The Black Devil's and The Black Devils Brigade) was a joint World War II American-Canadian commando unit organized in 1942 and trained at Fort William Henry Harrison near Helena, Montana in the United States. So yeah... a bit of a fail there

  • @tellygeek

Actually you're wrong again, (which doesn't really surprise me). 1st SFOD-D was formed by Charlie Beckwith in the 70's after he had been on exchange with the 22 SAS Regiment. Jimmy Carter needed an answer to the increased terrorist threat of the 1970s and Beckwith stepped up to the plate. We trained your 'Delta' force, plain and simple.

  • @MrGunwitch Who said i was british?... anyway sorry i had the wrong info the Seals were formed in 62..

  • @Tomlowlife

look for British SBS ,probably one of the British armed forces most secretive and most under-rated unit, equal to SAS,

The British better equivalent to Navy seals lol

  • @skinnymason and you some dumm fuck littel kid ! AHAHAHAHA

  • @7777eddie7777

A dumb fuck little kid who's served 12 years in the British Army and who was soldiering when you was still in nappys boy, your the dumb fuck run along

  • Hooyah!

  • 90% mental and 10% physical

  • Nice recruitment vid, how much did the pentagon pay to get it packaged with socom?

  • Who cares?

  • lol not much ...but i do enjoy watching it =)

  • Outstanding

  • teamwork people....its what you do in a situation like what those guys were ambushed by gunfire.

  • stfu

  • Yea right why they never tell or show how they lost 3 groups of seals in afganistan?

  • Because this video was made before 2005.

  • this video is to persuade not to scare dumbshit.

  • there pretty much every branch of the military in one team. i dont think i would like the water

  • man...5 hour swim, at 3 am, after being awake for 48 hours? shit.

  • so u have to have perfect eyevision to do this

  • your vision has to be correctable to 20/20.

  • my dad was part of the team that went to Grenada to take out the radio station, he was a corpsman before he was a SEAL so he patched up Erskine and helped him swim out to sea...

  • sure he did

  • dude im just wondering, did the corpmen still get that exempt from BUD/S, or do people go through BUD/S first then go to med school?

  • I have a friend who is going to med school first and then going through buds afterwards so he can be a medic on a seal team

  • He's going to need to go back through medical training after BUD/S as well.. He needs to go through SQT after BUD/S like normal, then he'll go to a medical school to teach him infantry and dive medicine.. He might as well just focus on getting through BUD/S and worry about becoming a medic after..

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!!! :D

  • was this all on one disk?

  • Yes. It was on the Game disk itself.

  • I met, 2 Navy SEALS, and I must say, very human, humble men I have ever met. I didn't even know they were SEALS, they were very kind and what struck me was their confidence and humility mixed one..........

  • true that, SEALs dont tell others they are SEALs. they don't need to, they know who they are, and i love them to death. i have a SEAL recruit in my DEP program right now, today, he ran a mile and a half in adidas flip flops effortlessly LOL

  • I'm assuming you're a recruiter? can you tell me anything about vision requirements for SEAL? I have 20/600 vision

  • I can... i'm a Marine but worked with seals for 6 months... also have a few friends that got out of the corps and went navy to be seals... when you go to bud/s, you can get lasik before you start...

  • and the navy pays for it?

  • yeah dude... NSW pays for it... NSW has twice the budget of the entire navy

  • NSW?

  • naval special warfare

  • no i'm an enlisted sailor. if i were you i'd get lasik done in the private sector. the lasik will be much better and it's only 1500-2000 to get done by a private doctor. i wouldn't put my trust in the navy's surgery. good luck if you decide to try out for SEALs.

  • i remember meeting Tom Norris, he never called himself or other SEAL's, SEAL's, he said they were the Frogmen or the Teams

  • your not turbo for xbox live are you?

  • i remember meeting Tom Norris on Veteran's Day this year, like you said, he was the nicest guy and even encouraged me to be in the Teams

  • Learn how to write first. No offense. Take your education seriously. You need be an intellectual, even in the military.

  • You actually need to be really street smart too

  • Absolutely, SEALs face technical decisions of the likes that engineers and MDs would face..

  • as long as your not stupid, training would take care of the rest

  • Not a bad aspiration.
