In your other video when you was in Morocco i noticed you was being very loud, rude and yet clueless with the Moroccan taxi driver. Its the loudness, obscenity, rudeness, arrogance (expecting everything to be your way) and outwardness that Americans seem to posess abroad that makes them stand out as the worst tourists and makes the world HATE them.
Rabat is great ! I just hate the 2inch layer of dust laying everwhere in Rabat and Casablanca. One more thing. Whats up with the inconsiderate, macho assholes trying to take benefit of tourists all around Morocco ???! Its hard wired to find your self fooled, skewed, because of them.
I think you'd like Egypt. It's a country with a great culture and you can go camel-riding and scuba-diving there. :) I really enjoyed it when I went there.
Ive signed up for some interest with cross cultural solutions to do some volunteering and now that keep calling me ever week or so asking if i have any questions. I only asked for a broucher!
@LinzLoves haha i just found it funny that instead of taking a segment of a bunch of cats everywhere, you had a small part of a fat cat licking himself; it made me laugh =)
The desert isn't as safe as you'd think - it's not totally deserted. It might be more towards Egypt, but you can actually be robbed and killed in the middle of the desert (especially if you have nothing for them) and no one would ever know. There are people out there and they're not exactly friendly.
However, after being to the middle east, the border checks and police are worth dealing with to see everything. Don't let a border check scare you out of seeing somewhere. =]
This is some really amazing footage. I will be watching for your other uploads to come. It reminds me just a tiny bit of when I was in Ghana, but mostly it looks nothing at all like it. I have a couple videos of on my channel in case you're interested.
Hmm I really don't like Arabian architecture (and the song). However, the ceiling in the tomb was epic. And why where all the houses blue in the bottom?
@dennis6843 "Arabian", it's north african, there is no such thing as arabian. It's mauresque architecture, the basis of most great European gothic architecture.
Lindsey! I've been trying to convince my parents to let me do my semester study abroad in Morocco, and all you've done is reinforce that idea. Thank you so much!
I love your ring in the beginning of this video? Is that the royal ring? I want something similiar to that design except i'd perfer emerald better. Love your video's, keep them coming :)
Thinking about taking a vacation with my family this summer...would you recomend going to Morocco. I have a 5 year old girl and i dont know if she will like it. And i dont wanna spend 15 hours on google looking stuff about morocco so is it a good place to take a kid?
@batmanarkhamasylum10 at 5 she would be happy in a family style resort, like in Marrakech, i took my 5 year old daughter and she loved it. when her dad and I want to go sightseeing (too long of a walk for her) we can leave her with other kids at the child care facility in the hotel.
@batmanarkhamasylum10 the staff is trained, and they always have people who speak several languages, they do arts and crafts, games and even organize a show with the kids for the evening. She spent all that week wanting to go there instead of with us
Can't wait to watch the rest of the videos! I'm going to teach conversational English in Korea this summer. I am definitely going to check out the program you went through so I can do it in other locations as well.
@CaptKundalini HI there, just read your comment regarding wanting to go travelling to the Middle East. I am half moraccan (and half dutch), only been there 3 times in my life. It's soo cool to see that footage of you walking through there as I have the exact same footage (that route) :-D
Oh, and don't worry about taking pictues. I've been there with family (not a tour guide or something telling me what I can and can not do) and it's not like someone is gonna stop you :-p Ok, maybe if you go stand in their faces and take pictures :-p
it's funny to see such ancient looking walls next to a blacktop road with cars. beautiful city, im so jealous you have been traveling to so many places! cant wait to do it for myself.
