@MrTruthAddict I never said that it was a bad thing to look at the human body either. I've taken a few life drawing courses and have seen plenty of nudes in it. I just feel that the way these girls used their body in the protest was distasteful. There's many other ways to get results. I'm not liberal by far, but conservatism isn't my problem either. There is a certain line I draw which reflects the type of person I am. I don't need to strip - I find more intelligent ways to get my point across.

Although I understand and agree with their argument, I find that there are more tasteful ways to go about getting results. In Europe people are used to seeing semi nude people on TV so they dont make a federal case over a nipple being shown. Our attitude about sex is unhealthy.

I was interested in this story because I have a friend from Ukraine who is a fellow Poli Sci major. She and I like to talk about these issues.
The LAST thing most Europeans are thinking about when looking at a protest like this is whether looking at a human body is a bad thing.

@MrTruthAddict I never said that it was a bad thing to look at the human body either. I've taken a few life drawing courses and have seen plenty of nudes in it. I just feel that the way these girls used their body in the protest was distasteful. There's many other ways to get results. I'm not liberal by far, but conservatism isn't my problem either. There is a certain line I draw which reflects the type of person I am. I don't need to strip - I find more intelligent ways to get my point across.

@quinni24 Perfect example is my town. I go to the beach quite a bit so I am used to being around women who are in bikinis. It doesn't faze me at all. Yet I see tourists come to town and they just can't stop leering at them. They'll take pictures and video of them, sometimes surreptitiously.
I can stand in front of a woman in a bikini and have a conversation with her and still have respect for her as a human despite the fact that she is "half nude."

Yeah they have problems. They should have been born in japan and then they'd know what a problem really is. No one is stopping them from doing what they want to do in a bedroom.
