Most bands have drinks with them on stage. It keeps their throats from drying out and also relaxes them. I've been to concerts where each member of the band will always have a bottle or cup of beer near them. It's pretty common..wouldn't you want a drink or two if you were performing all night? You're drinking in the audience, the band is drinking on stage. Makes concerts more lively, too.
