American bombings of Japanese cities didn't really come into full effect until the last year of the war. For most of the war Japanese cities lay well beyond bomber range.

@LIFEWITHEUGENE. Your a moron. Japanese Americans who were placed in internment camps weren't treated badly. As compared to Jews who were treated horrendously in concentration camps and DEATH camps. ( A death camp is where you go to die.) i.e. Auschwitz, Treblinka. Oh by the way, nowhere near a million people died in the 2 atomic bombs being dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But about 6 million Jews died in Germany's concentration camps and death camps. Your a fool too.

I will admit it was wrong of me to say that the Japanese weren't treated badly. But to try and compare it to the way Jews were treated is ridiculous. Jews were absolutely treated worse then the Japanese. Jews were killed by the millions, that did not happen to the Japanese.

You can try to rewrite history all you want, by saying the Japanese were treated just as bad as the Jews but the fact remains, that the Japanese did not have genocide committed against them, the Jews did. @Demonicblood10 No I do not consider the bombs genocide. Those are war related deaths as a result of two nations fighting each other. The purpose of the bombings were to destroy Japans ability to wage war not to destroy the Japanese race, unlike the death camps in Europe that were designed to exterminate the Jews. And yes the were several million Japanese that died during the war, but the overwhelming majority were military deaths.

There purpose was to demoralize the Japanese people so they would surrender.

There were two branch's of Nazi Germany military, there where those whose concern was to track down Jews, and those who were to use Jews as a work force. These two clashed many times, they didn't kill all of the Jews. In fact the camps were not designed primary for death, but for work. Death was a result. If they wanted ALL the Jews dead they would of just gunned down all of them on sight.

@Demonicblood10 Obviously I don't have any documents. But there are official estimates. It is widely accepted that nearly six million Jews were murdered as a result of the Nazis. Estimates of Japanese deaths are much lower, and like I said before the overwhelming majority were military deaths. American bombings of Japanese cities didn't really come into full effect until the last year of the war. For most of the war Japanese cities lay well beyond bomber range.
