I would also like to add, that the Laws protecting Universities and student protests do not apply when criminal rioters. Attempting to shield themselves from the authorities, the rioters (most who are not even students) are using the laws to conduct their criminal intentions against the government. However, the laws of Greece also include that criminals cannot use any private or public buildings to shelter their activities. Yet the Greek government does not enforce this law and permits the riot.

I don't have a perfect solution of course, because people will always turn to corruption in any system. Even when voting is a fraud I don't see how violence teaches the corrupt anything except how to fight harder, hurting more. They aren't "learning a lesson", just throwing more tear gas. ummmmmm it depends. Things change man. Globalization isn't anything new and we seem to have forgot that part of history. Its not that its against the nature of humanity. ITs that our civilization isn't ready for it without being forced into by dictatorship or an outside threat(aliens). We aren't socially advanced enough.

If governance requires force then its not an advanced form of society. Its just plain tyranny. Corporate dominant global governance operated by an elitist minority is a step backward IMHO. There's no transparency and its based on consumption and control of and by the masses. Pretty archaic if you ask me.

and by who's doing the volunteering and what is the intent. if we're being dragged into a global framework by banks & corporations who want profit and abuse force to ensure control then they'll have to pursue extreme draconian measures to placate the masses. civil liberties as we think we have arent sustainable against that type of force.
