Dylan caught bigger and hollower waves. A lot of sponsors are just waiting for Slater's 10th to capitalize and they stole Dylan's shinning moment. That puts a stain in this championship. KS is alredy a worldwide sport legend, he shouldn't need the judges help to break his own record. It's becoming like profesional boxing (greedy and corupt).
I think that getting a sick barrel is way better than a sick turn. Dylan graves should have won that heat but he is not the one that can make history happen. the world wants to see Kelly make his 10 championship. I think this one is going to be Kelly's last championship before he retires. He is the best surfer ever there is no doubt about it. I still think Dylan won that heat.
Really you guys? Dylan didn't disappear in the barrel and sorta bobbled the next turn and finished the first nicely. On his second wave he dug his nose and bogged. His waves were bigger and that was it. Bigger turns on smaller waves for Slater.
Este heat lo ganó el "puertorriqueño" Dylan Graves. Lo que pasa es q los jueces no iban a poner a Graves a ganar sobre "Slate" This heat was won by the "puertorican" Dylan Graves. It's just that the judges were not going to put Graves to win over Graves. Good job Dylan!!

Dylan had better waves but in the last 10 minutes he didn't catch any good ones...that didn't helped him.

@413salon if you can't tell the difference between a check turn (graves) and arc/hack (Slater) then you need learn the difference.
