  • lwkrngwlsj nbvgsjlkv AWESOME!!!!!!

  • jack's just incredible

  • holy fuck.

  • His drumming style reminds me of Mitch Mitchell

  • I THOUGHT i knew how good this band is.....MIND. FKN. BLOWN.

  • never gets older)

  • i bet pat begs them to put this closer to the start of there set it looks exausting

  • 2 people are deaf

  • john bonham...you have permission to reincarnate yourself into the only real rock n roll group of these feeble times...

  • what the hell is up with the wrong song naming at 1:45?

    fucking BBC.

  • i love that gold guitar of jack's hahaha

  • These guys should get back together. so much more talent in this group than The Dead Weather.

  • @tyleryesta1 They're playing a show in september @ MI-Fest :-D

I hope they pick up touring again soon after!

  • Is that someones head at 0:21

  • Holy Shit I have goosebumps!

  • 1:46 rockin´ bug in the wall !

  • salute your solution?... something is wrong.. hahaha

  • i feel like my head just exploded, in a good way

  • I've watched this so many times I've noticed tiny things which aren't too obvious at first glance

Check out Brendan's mistake at 3:07 to start...good job jacks on the ball

  • It'd hate to be a drummer in a band with Jack White, so much f'ing pressure, but that drummer is absolutely amazing, it's an incredibly original beat.

  • 2:28 looks like Jimmy Page with his Theremin......but salute to The Raconteurs. so heavy and original

  • After hearing about the Stripes...I really hope these guys get back together...I really don't like Dead Whether... And this is a great great performance of this song!

  • hahaha 2:26, schools out? anyone?

  • @polarissuk ya I noticed that like 2 years ago when I first watched this, haha

  • head on a stick? did anyone else see the head on the stick?

  • lol, it says "Salute your Solution" on the screen at one time.

  • Holy Jesus I love Patrick Keeler.

  • Seems like Patrick had manic depression when coming up with the beat! If you get my reference, ehehehæhæhæ...

  • what kind of guitar does Jack use? it looks like a gretsch

  • @rockerr12595 I believe its a very modified version of a Gretsch double jet :)

  • @rockerr12595 It's a Gretsh, but if I'm not mistaken it's the one he had souped up with all copper. Like almost everything on the guitar was made of copper to give it a certain tone.

  • 3:07 BB almost sings

  • Hey, does anyone know what that copper mic jack was singing into at 2:57 is called?

  • 2 people missed the like button:P

  • People spend so much time filming Brenden's fingering. SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT LJ plays.

  • Why does the title on the bottom of the screen say this is "Salute Your Solution"?

    WRONG.

  • Personal highlight for me was the 106-seconds-late banner that said this was called Salute Your Solution. Brilliant though ;)

  • Jack is seriously the effing best!!!!

  • I can't stop watching this video

  • The best drum beat for a very long time....these are BRILLIANT!!!!!

  • God damnnnnn

  • There must have been some serious vocal tweaking going on the day they recorded the studio version of this. He ALWAYS struggles to sing this live and is always as flat as a witches tit.

  • its his music man... let JACK SING HOWEVER HE WANTS!! ALL HAIL JACK!

  • @judomouse Singing live is weird though. I know from personal experience I can lay something down perfectly, or even sing at home perfectly but come mid-set I'm toast. I'm not comparing myself to him in any way, just an observation.

  • @judomouse Honestly, this live is better than most when it comes to BBS.

  • they are jammin!

  • what about the keybords? they're looooow.

  • omg it's mindblowing how good the Raconteurs perform live.

  • does everyone agree that this is one of the best drumbeats ever?

  • haha better than meg.

  • @TaffyRaphie personally i think steady as she goes has the best bassline and drumbeat ever but thats just me

  • @TaffyRaphie Yes the drum beat is in indeed great!

  • @TaffyRaphie Gurl please.

  • @TaffyRaphie Gurl please.

  • Comment removed

  • @TaffyRaphie hey man, your so right! nobody has such power as Patrick Keeler!

  • @TaffyRaphie FUCK YES!!! I've been trying to get that right for years!!

  • @TaffyRaphie From one of the god damn best drummers of the last 20 years

  • Does anybody else think Jack's voice sounds a bit strained?

  • It definetely is strained. You should hear the newest live vids of the dead weather, its more strained than ever!

Strained voices are the best, god do i love them!

  • @TheBlenderer i this is around the time he slipped a disk in his back so it was tough to sing with that. thats why you will fine 2 vids of alison mosshart singing with him.

  • Ah, I see. Disk in his back, ouch...

  • Anybody?

  • Hey can someone tell me the name of the mic he uses thats on top of his amp, because it sounds really sweet.

  • i think its a reugalr mic but its hooked up to distrion idk but im pretty sure a special vocal dist.

  • Just an old harmonica mic. I cant remeber what the thing he uses with its called but it doesnt effect the sound of it all it does is cut it out for a second. But if you can live without that part then its just a regular harminca mic

  • Killswitch?

  • yes!

  • its called a coppperphone... its hooked up to a copper coil that runs the signal through two prongs, whenever he puts his hand on it the singnal comes through, by shaking his hand on it, it makes that "killswitch" sound....

  • Yeah your right not me. Thanks for that. I always wondered why i couldn't buy a harmonica mic like his :P

  • Whos a better drummer Patrick or Jack White?

  • Patrick.

    Jack is good.

    But he has no experience.

  • Jack was a drummer way before he was a guitar player.

  • Patrick

  • jacks more unorthadox like everything but if i was a guitarist/bassist id want keeler JW would be a bitch to play along too although i have no experiece im a drummer so :P

  • whats with the head at 0:37?

  • its glastonbury for good sakes theres crazy ass peopel there.

  • Jack is great. And man, Patrick Keeler is great at drums I never realized how good he was

  • that's jack's style.Look at rory gallagher. little boy!!!

  • at 2.00 seems that jack loses his pick....lol!!!

  • 2:25 Was that a bit if Schools out..

  • epic

  • the drummer is so good!

  • And he still plays old fashioned with his snare hand!

  • It is called Traditional grip.

  • "It seems to revolve around the number three--songwriting is storytelling, melody, and rhythm, those three components. If you break it down but you keep the three components, then you have what songwriting really is, without excess and overthinking."

Jack explaining why he loves the number 3:)

    Long live Jackie White!!

  • Yes but what is the copper thing zeikoru?

  • Does Jack White have a killswitch on his guitar or amplifier?

  • he has a zvex tremelo probe. It senses like hand movements and changes the speed of tremolo. apparently if you touch it all the way it's off or vice versa.

  • jack plays a gretsch doesnt he?

  • yes, custom.

  • Ok, it's been bugging me for ages.. What with the number 3 on everything that jack has?????

  • Jack White said in an interview that he has had an obsession with the number three.. kinda like an ocd thing. If you look on the back of the elephant album you will notice all the 3's are highlighted and sometimes he sings into 3 mics.

Soo yer.. hope that answers ur question.....

    JACK WHITE PWNS!!!!

  • Yeah, cos there 3's on his plecs, and yeah i noticed all the 3's on Elephant..

    White Stripes or Raconteurs?

  • Yeah, and on his drum set up in The Dead Weather he has 3 floor toms.

    Fucking love Jack White.

  • yeah but what happened to his red and white guitar?

  • He uses that for The White Stripes

  • yeah but its still a very nice guitar

  • Yeah.

I don't know why you brought it up in this video.

  • lol... it's plastic, not very well intonated, and according to him, a bitch to play. but that's the point. he says he never wants it to be easy.

  • 0:41 sounds like a windows error pop up

  • Am I losing my memory or is this one of the best bands ever?

  • what is the gold microphone jack white is using? how does he get that sound.

  • its called a bullet. the strokes use one also

  • yes! jacks voice was feelin it here! actually the whole glasto concert! Felt like it was his voice from 06 ;)

  • wow! there all really kicking ass on this. great vid!!

  • 100% badass. love it!!

  • WOW ........That was awesome!!!

    Thanks for posting.

  • I hear a little hint of Zepplin in there.....

  • Especially Jacks voice in the studio version is very Plantish

  • patrick keeler is rocking the shit on this one

  • Does anyone know what the microphone type thing jack uses at 2:55 onwards is called??

    great song.

  • its an old fanshioned crystal mic wired with what apears to be a homemade kill switch

  • that was fucking awesome

  • Jack White es un gran guitarrista con todo y solos

  • Jack white tiene mucho rock dentro¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • that drummer is having fun..

  • I think Patrick Keeler is one of the best drummers. i love at the beggining were he goes from straight to triplets, fucking smooooth...

  • @ahart22

no doubt, but Keith Moon really was..

  • where's Jack's Gretsch Rancher acoustic guitar?????

  • wow brendan its nice to see a solo from u

  • AWSOME!

  • I'm old enough to remember the days when bands did drum solos and bloody boring they were too but I could stand a whole lot more of Patrick Keeler.

  • i hope you arent making a generalization, because i agree, but there were some monumental drum solos that blew people away, i.e. Moby Dick.

  • brilliant

  • Bensen always has this absent look on his face...

  • russian flag wow

  • Thankyou God for briging jacks voice back

  • and hey you fuckers! just cos i reference the who dont mean i'm an old out of touch fucker, i am,but thats beside the point.

  • anyone who thinks this is 'jacks band' is a dick. x

  • it is lawrence's band... what r u talking about?????? lol

  • oh,i just mean that all i ever hear is 'jack whites other band...' and i think thats a diservice to the other guys. last band to feature this amount of talent in one band was the who.

  • i was talking about little jack, the bassist. if you watch the interviews with these guys ull see a recuring joke that hes the "leader" of the group.

  • it is too bad Jack is overcredited (even though he IS amazing), it's just the other guys are amazing as well.

  • And i just spelt hear wrong

  • One of the most amazing songs you will ever here.

And i'm a drummer....fuck me. That intro made me smile x

  • I just wanna know....how does Jack keep getting sexier every year?

  • fantastic percussion - i hope these guys make music forever

  • Much better than the album version!! Jack is an alive Legend!!

  • What a fantastic drummer that boy is and Benson and White are just in a league of their own.

  • yes...a league of extraodinary gentlemen.

  • Jack White is pretty much becomming the new Rock n Roll frontman of our generation

  • their best song

  • my 1st glasto' defo be back next yr

  • Patrick is so hot and awsome in this vid.:)haha. DinosaurSoda, thanks for sharing this.

  • i thnk that brendan plays too prefect and still. he needs too jump around.but he's still amazing guitarist

  • The most kick-assest song of the BBS album. I just love it XD

  • if its salute your solution, i am george bush :D

  • Glastonbury is always puttin the names of the songs wrong in the shows...

  • BBC you mean

  • I fookin' love it! One of my favourite Raconteurs song and AWESOME live.

  • Reminds me of Zeppelin

  • your right ! and this is my dad's who's a huge zeppelin fan favourite raconteurs song

  • I really think that if they keep going they could get to be the greates band ever

  • I think they will keep going theres a patern forming 1 white stripes album then 1 racks.

  • that'd be awesome

  • never gets older

  • perfect thing to say!

  • best song at glastonbury . love it when the bassline kicks in.

  • Hm... Maybe i´ll buy your Guitar..

im living in germany.. is it a problem?

  • nope thats no problem, I'll have to find out the new shipping price, but it would be fine if you want to buy it

  • what kind of scratches etc does the airline have? My comp wont load ebay

  • No scratches, barely used to be honest, probably used no more than 12 times - I'm no Jack White on the guitar so i kinda gave up and kept it in its case xD

  • XDDD I love how it says "Salute Your Solution" at the bottom while they're playing Broken Boy Soldier.

  • hahah i didn't notice that, silly bbc.

  • Patrick is one hell of a drummer...

  • Yeah hes a fantastic drummer :D

  • Ahhh, they were WONDERFUL at Glastonbury...

  • i think this is their best performance of this song

but why are you selling your airline?

  • Hey, Yeah this song is great, but I think Steady As She Goes was the best of this show, they mixed it up and stuff, made it more interesting :D

I'm selling my guitar because I'm 17 and really wanting to do something useful like learn to drive, but that costs a lot of money, i'd love to keep it, but I really suck at guitar, so just messing around with my cheap acoustic guitar is enough for me :)

  • yea i made the same choice at that age too. but mine was a les paul (which i cant standem!) but it was the best move ive ever made. you can develop alot more on a really shitty accoustic. mine was $60 and its been going for five years now and its about had it.

  • hey, could you possibly get audio for me off of this?

    i'd love this show.
