McDonalds own shares in EDO-EDO makes bomb parts that kill innocent people.

People who pay attention get pissed off at the fact that these companies are able to do this without accountability and take to the streets.

Unfortunately not everyone is level headed all the time and some people do make bad decisions. Try to look at the big picture

3. There are far better ways of protesting than those engaged in by Smash EDO. I have seen people pelted with red paint just for telling "protectors" to get off their cars. They seem to think they are on a crusade & can do whatever they want because worse things happen in Palestine

2. Yes it would, the arms industry requires lots of different components made by different manufacturers in order to assemble advanced weaponry. If they have to relocate to the US, then they have to ship parts across the pond, that results in higher manufacturing costs.

The vast majority of these protestors are simply there to be seen as the one at the front, the one who is being most provocative. They want to be seen as the loudest, the most daring. They want to be photographed, to be printed and quoted in the daily papers. They want the Police to react in a 'non positive manner' because it heightens their own 'protestor profile'.
