Lesson #2 Six of Seven Americans live in SAFE STATES. In those states, your vote for Dumbomba or Billary or DickCain is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT! They don't need your vote to win! Poor saps in 43 feckin states will vote for corporate scumbag warmongers who are so confident they will win in that state that they won't bother to visit or spend ad money there. Do you even know if you live in one? As for what I am doing ... I'm just wondering when American voters are going to learn to read. Thats all.
i hear you. guess wut, i live in florida! how ironic! but there's a system in place, and unless you're willing to blow it up manually you 've got to decide to either participate, or bitch. come up with a solution instead of poking holes and i will gladly follow.
Well, if I lived there in FL, I would still vote my conscience but I don't live there. You do and you must make up your own mind. Gore didn't lose in Florida. He handed the election over to Bush by not challenging the disenfranchising of 57,000 black voters! Is he a racist? Why didn't he fight for these people? Could it be the whole bread and circus of each election cycle is a show perpetrated to keep the ruling class in power? FDR said, "Whatever happens in politics is SUPPOSED to happen".
Wow! So let me get this straight. There are three corporate warmongering pieces of sh*t running for president and you want us to all vote for the one you prefer. is that about it? Wow. What a great idea! Why didn't I think of that? Go Nader! Go Gravel! Go McKinney! Spoil that corrupt system! Wreak as much havoc as you can until non-readers like this guy wake the feck up!
Politics is about compromise but there are selective issues that cannot be compromised on, at least to the extent Obama and Clinton have "compromised" (more like given in).
you've got two choices. nader, ron paul, alan keyes, gravel, ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE. IF YOU THINK THEY DO HAVE A CHANCE YOU'RE DELUSIONAL. sorry to yell, by the way.
Im a voter. The point to voting is to vote for whom you think is the best person for the oval office. Its not to vote for one of two people I somewhat maybe agree with at times and might be better then the other guy. The only wasted vote is voting for someone you dont beleave in or not voting at all. On top of all of this Ron Paul will take away repub votes this election if he jumps to the (L) party ticket.
I agree to end the two party system. But that isn't going to happen this year, or anytime soon. Voting for Paul or Nader of course could be a show of protest, but what has it accomplished in the past? If Nader had endorsed Gore in 2000, our country wouldn't be in as bad a mess, to say the least. The reality is one of two people will be in office next year. Will you vote for one of them or let the rest of the country decide for you?
McCain/Palin it's as easy as that...Obama sucks.....thanks

If you're willing to whore out your vote for the lesser of two evils, that's your prerogative.
Voting for the lesser of two evils is still evil.

@bombednation I agree that Obama is not the best president we've ever had, but he's not the worst. McCain wouldn't have been any better.
