  • very very nice, the prediction effect at the start, is it original or can i buy it some where?

  • @sebastiantuma123 Thanks, the prediction effect is by Mark Mason called "future zone".

  • Great job Pete!

  • @PaulTheillusionist Thank you very much Paul!!!

  • @tallyhoviper645 I have been looking for future zone but cant find it where did you get it?

  • Very good, Pete. I really have no clue how both are done. That prediction effect seems very clean.

  • @martinj1025 Thank you very much Jose:) Believe it or not, in the prediction effect, that is the worst possible outcome, 80% of the time it is even cleaner.

  • the second effect for me is better than the first you preformed them both great but i love traditional card magic but sometimes its nice to change it up once again awesome work

  • @CardFreak1000 Well, I think they're different in different ways, the first effect is more like a prediction but the second is more like a penetration. I love traditional card magic as well but yeah it's great to change it up once in a while. I used to only post card magic videos but now i change it up to ropes, rising doll, smoke, money etc... Thanks a bunch for your feedback:)

  • Man Pete great stuff

    What's the first effect?

And where do you find your tricks you seem to pick great ones

  • @elkswho Thanks man!!!:D The first effect is called Future Zone and it's by Mark Mason, I think this is the best variation of these types of effects out there, no funny moves and works on any card stopped at. I find my magic by going to forums and basically by watching videos on youtube. After I saw an effect that I think are very special and that would fit well in my style, I read some reviews and bought the magic.

  • Continuation ~ If you are interested I can share with you a few of my favorite pet prediction routines - if you enjoy this card plot. The second effect was really neat and I think the strongest point is that it's very VISUAL- In my experience of magic over the years nothing hits more than good visual magic - floating objects, penetrations, transpositions, vanishes, productions, etc. etc. Really awesome magic.

  • @DrDavidL Thank you very much David. Really, that would be super awesome, I am very interested in this plot absolutely! No one ever expected the block at the end of the second effect which makes the effect so much fun to perform. I like visual stuff as well, have you seen my videos on youtube on the rising doll, that is the best animation effect out there in my opinion. Thank you once again David, much appreciated your feedback:)

  • Pete~

Very cool effects - I have always been fascinated with prediction effects and perform an endless amount of them that involve everything - even as simple as just paper. Your effect is very reminiscent of the time honored Open Prediction that was posed by Paul Curry. I'm sure you know of it and have seen all the books that have been written about it - including 51 faces north. The effect seemed very strong and fair - my only questions are - is the Z fold wallet examinable and the card?

  • @DrDavidL I have heard about the book but didn't own it and yes I am very fascinated with prediction effects and I myself are searching for the best possible version out there. I have the grail but in my opinion this effect is cleaner and looks more fair. No they can't be examine but I don't think that's a factor because out off all the people I've shown this effect to at school, no one ever ask to examine anything becasue the preceding procedure looks really fair.

  • The 2nd routine while it good. It fails on it own. The was no reason for the coin or the coin going through case really. Also by trying to make it it own routine you put the coin way to many time through it. It made it seem like a not a big deal....... Maybe do a one coin routine and then mix in the case. Then you have a few phases to the routine and a killer ending!

But as I said man really awesome! Keep rocking!

  • @TheRealKingDong Hmm, I don't understand what you mean by this. The reason I put the coin through the case is because I wanted to show them how illusion effects reality and that different objects can pass through the box etc...I don't understand how you would transition from a one coin routine to the box though, can't think of the right patter line, maybe you could help me:)? That would be great!

  • I love that your always performing! Ill give a few comments. The first routine was awesome... but at the end you explain or tell them too much what happened.....just step back..or sit back and let it sit in with them. They know what happened they just saw it!

I find that this common mistake that magicians feel they need to explain what happened or tell the audience or spec every little thing.

Remember less can be better sometimes.

  • @TheRealKingDong Thank you very much for your advice and feedback, I really appreciate it. Yes, I realized that problem with the first effect and that is why I perform it now with no explanation at the end. After they stopped on the card, I just say, "So that's a completely free choice and you didn't feel influence in anyway correct?" after they've answered, I just take out my prediction without saying a word, and they were impressed. Thanks, I love performing for real people!

  • That was a great performance... good job!!

  • @magicj89 Thank you Jesse! I really like these two effects, especially the first one:)

  • how old are u?

and how long have u been into magic?

  • @samuelws1996 Thanks for watching and for the comment! I am 16 years old and have been doing magic since I was 11 years old but have been doing it seriously about three years ago.

  • @tallyhoviper645

are u planning to do magic professionally?

    as ur full time job?

  • @samuelws1996 Only semi professional at this point. I'm planning on majoring in business and marketing or video graphic design then go into some kind of medical field. Magic will be my side job to earn extra money along the way, I might go into magic professionally later on though.
