  • The Best Reggae Singer I've Ever Heard. The Best Reggaesong I've ever heard. Close To One Song From The Judds.

Ey, AJMusicgirl, lets use the Time we (maybe) will have! Gyah.

  • there's the occasional that shows up, but yeah... the 90s pretty well murdered country. it's weird, I went from country to grunge to... well, I don't know what the crap I listen to now is.

  • Yep, Garth Brooks made Country look like MTV!! Maybe the light shows and pyrotechnics make up for real talent.

  • it went down hill when dolly crossed country with pop.

  • most of country went downhill after the 70's

  • there's so much good music out there - country, pop, rock, rap, all of it. i don't think it's gone downhill since the 1990s any more than i think it went downhill from the old greats - the carter family, johnny cash, waylon jennings, patsy cline. there's a lot of good music still being produced. just my 2 cents.

  • @TheMaureennm that is what todays country music is worth"2 Cents"'

  • This is my Uncle!!!!!! :)

  • This has a definite 80s pop sound with a country twist.

  • ya love it:))))

  • this song brings back memories of gravel roads and cane poles

  • I only had a handful of country albums in my record collection...Eddy Raven was the most played!

  • this is dedicated to my good friend Joe Keahey.

  • Eddy was one of the greatest of the best of country music!!!

Which certainly isn't in these days. I saw him in concert and

it was one of the best I have ever attended and that is a lot.

My husband loved his music as much as I did and the concert!

We were right next to the stage and he sure enjoyed singing

    for all of his fans.

  • I need to get me a Mexican hat !!!

  • This is one of my favorite Eddy Raven hits You Can View More of my Favorites of Eddy Raven and more

  • This was me 30 years ago......Now i'm 52 and single and retired....it's good to know how to live....I been to Canada twice this summer, Florida and N. Carolina.....Might be time to get 4 new tires on my old caddy....

  • Hey, Deb, thanx for postin' this 1. I believe that 1 of the writers, Graham Lyle, might be 1 of your fellow Britons. Anyway, Eddy hit #1 in Billboard, 9-17-88. BTW, would Eddy be classified as a tenor? Somebody schooled in voices, please let me know. God bless!

  • @DaveWollenberg , he's an alto

  • that's what the generation before us said about the country music we used to listen to.

  • @reppand right on

  • All that stuff they've got out now sounds the same. They just change the beat, and add some new lyrics. These new singers have no idea what class country sounds

    like,

  • This has been my song to live by for many years.

  • we just got a new classic country station here in NC..am 570 country legends and it is all the great stuff like this...has a web site to listen live.

  • country music after the early 90's went to hell

  • @au19992001 I hear that. About 1994 it started to go downhill, IMO.

  • @AJMusicgirl id say abt '96

  • @au19992001 you got that right!

  • @au19992001 yes it really did

  • @au19992001 Amen brother

  • @au19992001 Amen brother( or sister )

  • @au19992001 It started to go to hell when Garth Brooks came on the scene - he took away all of the great artists from the 70's & 80's with him!
