  • " donne moi le nay et chante

car le chant est un véritable amour... donne moi le nay et chante

le chant est feu de lumière,

et les lamentos du nay sont des désirs ardents

que la tiédeur ne saurait approcher" K.Gibran

    thanksss for sharing, author32 !!!!

  • this is not one of her last performance. This clip was taped from a Montreal show hosted by France Beaudoin in july 2006. Lhasa was there to support the Lebanese

She came into the studio using her bicycle

Such a sweet soul and soooo humble.

I missed her dearly. The Foufoune Electrique, a club she knew, and the jazz festival, a place she use to go every summer...always on bike ! Montreal wont be the same next summer. i just dont want the summer to come.

    Pierre from Montreal

  • @PierreC2

  • @raymolly1980 welcome Ray...if you want to know more just ask...

  • Lhasa... Your music will continue to be a part of my heart and soul, and the fact that you sang Fairuz's song shows how much you also were aware of your great grandfather's Lebanese roots. And you do such a wonderful job here.. . The lyrics by Gibran are not easy, but you deliver it with such grace and beauty. You are the deepest recent loss in my life at the moment, and you are my music Prophet. Rest in Peace, O beautiful angel rise, rise, rise

  • @metrocat007 agree..terrible lost....summer is near and...well
