I suggest u to use DAW System instead of hardware if u are an Amature

like:

FL Studio

Cubase

Sonar

Reason

@ipodking4eva, if you make beats for your friends yea. If you serious you gon need pro-tools because record studios get pissed when you hand them a beat and they can't open it up in pro-tools. Pro-tools is the industry standard.
