I travelled on that same route that day on the Coastal Celebration on the 2pm sailing. It was an hour late, and the sailing took a whole hour longer than normal!
Really rough ride, but fun!
It took two people to open the outside doors and the ferry rocked at least 30 degrees a few times.

Wow that's quite a gale! You're a cool dad. Mine never would have let me outside during a storm surge when I was a kid.

@lmtengs123 if the ferry rocked 30 degrees you would've tipped over instantly, try between 5 and 8.
