I stand by this, television should have long ago adopted the practice of knowing where a show is going from season to season, and like a good movie, or novel each season should stand on its own and actually go somewhere. That way when you see you're running out of ideas, you can walk away and everyone is happy and the series has closure. Basically now shows just keep going till they jump the show, or just degenerate until it takes away from the any greatness the show might have had.

Most of what Roseanne was speaking of was all a story she made (from the early episodes when she got an office 4 a Bday present.) So most of the episodes we watched were written as part of her life story she glamorized. Dan died, Jackie is gay, They didn't win the lottery, Becy is with David and darlene with David.

UMMM no she didn't...The entire series was roseanne's book/fantasy. Real life: the Mom was straight and submissive, but still crazy. Jacky was gay so rosanne wrote her as being with men so no Fred or Andy. Dan didn't survive the heart attack. Becky was married to and pregnant by Kevin/David. Darlene was married to Mark, but the baby was real. And they never did win the lottery. The last season was very over the top fantasy
I'm not completely sure but if Roseanne was pregnant like what 1, maybe 1 1/2 years ago the baby didn't exist, because Dan died, but if she got pregnant before that it lived

well dan didn't actually die during an episode of the show. in the very last episode, (*SPOILER ALERT*) roseanne tells how the whole show was really a book she was writing. she said that in the conners' real life dan died when he had his heart attack (at darlenes wedding). they showed his heart attack on the show, but he ended up surviving. watch the finale and you will see.
I might be a crybaby but i cried at this episode, considering it was the end. it was kinda of a downer but none the less it was a fantastic ending. But still...it had me sobbing. But i prefer to pretend the ending never happened. haha. Anyway, I love Roseanne, she's my idol.

That course is given in year 5, but only to people who are in the social studies branch, I was in the science branch. The required history class was given in year 4, and it was Canadian history. I did go to a backwoods school, 'cause I grew up in a small town, one school, so no choice for better school, and we had to settle for the teachers who were willing to come and work in small town

I might be a crybaby but i cried at this episode, considering it was the end. it was kinda of a downer but none the less it was a fantastic ending. But still...it had me sobbing. But i prefer to pretend the ending never happened. haha. Anyway, I love Roseanne, she's my idol.

@babygiraffe123 It's not discrimination but perhaps censorship. I live in Canada too and i can watch this one for some reason. But take Dubai for example, when sex and the city was apparently filmed in Dubai it wasn't because they weren't allowed. You can buy music or certaing genres of books as well because it's so censored within the country. Censorship may be why. It's bs though because hulu is advertised here but you can't watch any of it if you don't live in the us.

And yes I've learned about SOME American History, just not much. And never once in Canada did I have to explain a fast food restaurant employee that there was a difference between a credit card and debit card unlike I had to do in NY.

That course is given in year 5, but only to people who are in the social studies branch, I was in the science branch. The required history class was given in year 4, and it was Canadian history. And yes, you're right! I did go to a backwoods school, 'cause I grew up in a small town, one school, so no choice for better school, and we had to settle for the teachers who were willing to come and work in small town

@Offended83Shadow Yeah, I went to a crappy high school. Doesn't mean I didn't get a decent education on my own. I'm out of my small town and into a good college. I'm graduating this year, and not to brag, but I am inadvanced English (scored over 95 on the placement exam), and I've had 100% on one of my finals last year, and several 80+ and 90+ all throughout college. And like I said, even if I went to a good school, I still wouldn't have learned about world history, because of the path I chose.
