Because the "health care" system is the way it is in the U.S., you need to tell your physician you are having trouble breathing and feeling heart palpitations when your heart rate is up during exercise. Then, the insurance will probably cover it. The procedure can be painful but will solve the problem. You may actually be able to breath better and become more active.

Mentally it was hell, and in 1976 there was no internet, so I never knew of anyone else with PE. My left side protruded, while the right side was sunken. I know how much PE really sucks, but know that there are surgery procedures that can largely correct the PE. Hang tough now!
