if you cant get it to run in 5.50 gen, Then Use IRshell press "L+R" Got to 1.50 IRshell And Open it from File Explore. This Would be a Even better program if it had IR Learning function Like Linux LIRC. But I will Stick With My Palm Zire 71 Has The Best IR Functions Like omniremote.

to all those who are having error messages when you run the universal remote while using CFW 4.01M33 or higher. you need to find and download the 1.50 kernel for the PSP. download it and install the kernal and go into your recovery mode and switch from CFW4XX [under the configuration menue]to 150. 2nd it only works on FAT psp's.(PSP1000). ps. youtube user xemnasworks has the download link for the kernel. anymore questions ask or search around...

Nope. You won't be able to run them, But, Boot back up into recovery mode and change back to the 5.00 or 3.90 or whatever kernel your main fw is and you will be able to run them all again.

You need to download and install the 1.50 kernel addon. Even if in recovery mode it says 1.50 kernel and you didnt install the addon, you need to install it for this to work

I have a PSP Phat running cfw DAX's 5.00M33-6. I inslalled the 1.50 add on kernel. the Universal Remote app then worked fine. NOTE: for the app to work, the UR and UR%_1 must be in the GAME150 file. The remotes file is put into the root of your PSP.
