  • I use to play the original flashpoint often. Made a lot of really good maps... then my computer caught a virus, and I went onto this mundane COD and MWF crap. Flashpoint is not only a strategy game, but a 1st person shooter as well.

  • I can't spell Dslyecxi right. Oh the irony.

  • what is this song?

  • Hey dude, I'm a hardcore ArmA fan, I'm always lurking around the bistudio forum, my name is Sgt Cresswell on the forum, I'm currently reading through your TTP2 guide and I have to say I'm really impressed, I would look into joining Shack Tactical if my computer had the internet and not just my laptop, great work man.

  • lol i watched this after Fer takes a sniper bullet video and that vid made me ROFL because that happened to me and my friends we were on patrol and a sniper took out our leader and we were like WTF o_O what we do !!!!! then he slowly picked us all off XD.

On a different note what do you have to do to join shach tactical?

  • @SpecialAgentEagle You should read through dslyecxi's TTP. Just search that in google. It will help you out. :P Aswell after you read it go to the Shack Tactical website to find out how to join.

  • what are you recording with ??

  • Lul'd at this little gem;

"Oops! Looks like didn't have a weapon on him. I'd better damage myself so it looks like it was a struggle..."

  • You guys are the winners of the FTW award(For The Win). I just have one question for you. When you made the strategy guide how did you decide what would work and what wouldn't? Did you use the game to test your theories? Great video by the way.

  • The guide was based in part off of our gameplay experiences in Operation Flashpoint, and in part based on what I anticipated happening in ArmA when we transitioned to it. Our actual gaming in ArmA has validated the TTP of that guide, too, which is cool to see.

  • I see. You guys are awesome to see on video using proper tactics and procedures. I have to say if I wanted to join a group for ARMA you would be it.

  • you guys need a rifleman into your group ? :] message me

  • Leaning and firing a long M240 burst, oh yeah.

  • Nice vid as always Dslyecxi, but can you give me the name of the song and the list of addons used in those missions? and at the scene with the Harrier (nice scene by the way) isnt that made with VBS2 after action report or something, because I saw something similar program from VBS2.

  • Odd, I could have sworn I replied to this comment previously. In any case - we use a small addon pack (different markers) but aside from that it's stock ArmA. There is no VBS2 footage in this - what you see is the Spectator Script by Kegetys, and I'm watching the mission as it plays out.

  • Oh yeah, the song is a track from the Eve soundtrack.

  • Well, how can someone get a hold of the addons?

  • ShackTac members have them. They're just map markers, no units or anything. Noone else needs them.

  • I realy admire your group Dslyecxi, you are organized and still you can have fun, not all clans/organizations have this sort of thing. May I ask that how many members do your group/clan/organization currently have?

  • And by the way, where can I get this Eve soundtrack? I like this song, or can you send it to me?

  • We have around 120 active members these days. Thanks for the kind words about the group, too.

As to your question regarding the song, you should be able to find a downloadable version of the Eve soundtrack from the Eve: Online site.

  • I really look up on your group, I watched almost all of your videos, quite impressive, I really liked the one you were crossing the bridge in OFP, that was amazing, after that video I had a revelation: There are groups which play OFP (now ArmA) as it should be played. 120 members wow, you must have a lot of work with them!

  • I am seriously consider joining your clan/organization, when I get my new PC set up (lets hope in the summer I will manage that) I will send ya an e-mail.

  • It's pretty neat how the group has evolved since OFP. Even with 120 members, thanks to the way every has stepped up towards leadership and matured as ArmA/OFP players, it's relatively easy to manage everyone. The biggest challenge comes from trying to integrate the newer people who may not know exactly what the spirit of the group is all about.

  • lol nice dude
