He just incorrectly called them all grizzlies ...when he wasnt calling them by his cute pet name. What he really wanted and needed a pet and a reality show. He got an innocent woman killed pretending he was an expert.
The guy was a FRAUD, trying to make his fame and fortune in a NATIONAL PARK, one of the most protected spaces a grizzly bear could exist. So much of what he said in these dramas are totally false. And his teaching bears that humans are not a threat to them just encourage bears to attack the next human that comes along.

He exploited the bear for his own personal benefit to gain notoriety and fame. He disregarded scientific experts, broke laws, and broke park regulations. Nothing he did protected the bears, who were never in danger from poaching in the first place. As evidence by no video of photographic documentation from Treadwell's 13 years in the park. You would think he would want to turn these alleged "poachers" in to the authorities.
