@DarkOnyx i can understand why is scary. Do 50 mph on a bike it'is so natural and not dangerous. I think it's too dangerous do 10 where cars go 50 .....
@DarkOnyx is my first electric bike ... there is an active security and a passive security..... active security of the bike is ok it brake in 2 metres... passive security of the bike also not electric is low. But this is not a problem of this bike is a problem of the bike in general. Also of the yamaha R1 When you ride a 2 tyre veichle you know that if you crash with a suv you are dead. But this is not an electric bike problem. This is the life. you can die also while walk with your legs.
Get this: people buy large vehicles for fear of accidents and then one in 1000 died in accidents and one in two will die from cancer due to heavy vehicles. The hypocrisy of our society. But thi bike is dangerous. You know what kills? stupidity. This kill people today.
But in my society, people do not buy large, heavy vehicles for fear of accidents. They drive these things because they think that driving a 3 ton tank that gets 6 miles per gallon and is cost prohibitively expensive to most people is a status symbol.
When I finish building my second eBike and start NOT paying for gas at all, I shall laugh at them all of the way to the bank.

I see a lot of videos of eBikes claiming to get 50+mph... but it just looks like anything beyond 30mph is just SCARY.

You don't know me. I am nothing of the sort. 160 mph with an R1 would scare the balls off of me too.
My eBike goes 20mph. I am doing a new build and I wouldn't push it past 30.
